I don't know what to believe or who to trust anymore?

Quote
“If we put in place a strong E-Verify system and deport criminal illegal aliens, the number of people here illegally will drop significantly, particularly if there’s not a continual flow of people coming in illegally,” Cruz said.

“At that point, once we’ve demonstrated that we can solve the problem, then we can have a conversation about what to do about whatever people remain illegally,” Cruz added. When asked if that conversation included the potential for a pathway to legal status, he repeated, “We can have that conversation with the American people once we secure the border.”

It is the same when you are stupid."

We need a complete moratorium on all immigration, legal and illegal for about the same amount of time as the last.
Circa 1926 to 1948.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

..another "gotcha" question by the MSM  ...  The MSM is out to destroy ...  I stand by Ted Cruz!  If only they would "attack" the criminal and the socialist!!

Ted Cruz 2016!  Reigniting the Promise of America!!!
I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed, a democracy in a republic, a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes. I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies.

Not only was Cruz's response reasonable, he refused to be trapped into a "yes or no gottcha" question.

I'm still trying to figure out what part of “We can have that conversation with the American people once we secure the border,” have everybody's knickers in a twist.  Cruz is also absolutely correct in stating that deporting criminal illegal aliens, the number of people here will drop significantly; keep in mind those people aren't just limited to those sitting in our prison system getting a complimentary 3 squares a day and a cot.  Perhaps I am reading a little further into his message - all illegals here are criminals -- those that have crossed the border illegally have committed a crime!

I am sure that once President Cruz has taken his oath of office, secured our borders and started the deportation process, he will consider suggestions as to how to further deal with our immigration problem from LEGAL American citizens.
