What?!?

I'm very angry at what has happened today. Seething, and wishing our incompetent (at the VERY BEST(which I don't believe)) was gone. All I can really say about that about now. Boudicca's words fit in perfect symmetry with mine, basically.

Love what President Hollindae said though. "We will bring a war without pity." Whether that comes to pass or not, how awesome would it be to have a president who had a set? Who could say something like that? We had one, and he was MALIGNED by the left.

Speaking of the left, if you are angry as hell about this attack today, and the general way things are going in this country, and the world as a whole, don't view the coming link. If you feel you can, check out the sick shit the DUmmies are saying in response to this crap:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10027340900

*sigh*

I really don't think I can stomach much more of the liberal lunacy.  We've been forced to live it for the past several decades.  IF we aren't successful in  seating a conservative in the White House this country is done.  After yesterday's attack on Paris, I'm praying that we make it to another election.  With Barry at the helm I seriously have my doubts.

Ted Cruz 2016.  Reigniting the Promise of America!!
I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed, a democracy in a republic, a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes. I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies.

I'm not a huge fan of Geraldo, but he's apparently talking to his daughter on air (she was in the soccer stadium).  She's clearly shook up, and he is also visibly shaken by this.

Just freaking disgusts me.  Get ready folks, because if we don't get a REAL CONSERVATIVE in office in 2016, this will become the US norm (and odds are, it's probably gonna happen while King Hussein is still in the White House)

I thought my eyes were going to pop out of my head when I heard him on air lauding Trump's calls to secure our border with a wall.  He said something along the lines of "people said Trump was crazy...but..."
Yeah, Geraldo, you were definitely one of the chorus insisting on all but open borders and any attempt to find out who we've let sneak into our country was racist.

And Belle, you are not alone in thinking Shepherd Smith is a shady character, aka a dem or a RINO; one about as bad as the other.  He never can talk about Cruz or Trump without a sneer in his tone.

Europe, unfortunately, has dealt with attempts to conquer her lands by these barbaric Islamists ever since the first Muhammed bade them go forth and spread the word of Allah at the point of their swords.  France needs her president to be Charles Martel, not Neville Chamberlain, and certainly not Obola light.  I was pleased to hear Hollande not mince words about the perps of these outrageous murders, unlike Obola who still refuses to call the enemy for what it is. :hammer:

Just had to confirm with my unit we have no one in Paris. USAREUR requiring all units to check in.   This is gonna get interesting.

Unfortunately the terrorists have been inflicting their damage on Europe for decades.  I can't imagine things have gotten anything but progressively worse (pun very much intended) since we last lived in Germany during the '80s and '90s.  Still have the pictures of my husband's severely damaged jeep from the Frankfurt PX planted bomb explosion in Nov '85.

Youall, as I know you know, txradioguy, are in for long lines getting onto the Kasernes, increased vigilance everywhere and probably cancelled and curtailed leaves and passes.  Stay safe, all of you cavers over there.  Those bastards have always been merciless and pitiless, so I'm glad to hear President Hollande profess his dedication to returning their fire.

We are getting reports of a pipe bomb going off two blocks from Disneyland. Unknown if any hurt.

Anaheim Lowe's evacuated after suspicious package found in parking lot, detonated by bomb squad
http://www.ocregister.com/articles/bomb-692069-police-anaheim.html

Quote
Orange County Sheriff’s bomb squad officials detonated an explosive device that was left in a Lowe’s Home Improvement store parking lot in Anaheim on Friday night, authorities said.

Anaheim police officers were called around 5:15 p.m. about a possible pipe bomb in the 1500 block of North Lemon Street, said Anaheim police Detective Laura Lomeli.

Customers inside the store were first told to stay inside, but were later evacuated through a side exit.

Disneyland is in Anaheim.

Terrorist as young as 15 is thought to be among killers as it emerges suicide bomber with Syrian passport came to Europe through Greece in October
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3318379/Hunt-Isis-killers-Syrian-passport-body-suicide-bomber-Stade-France.html

Quote
A Syrian terrorist who was involved in last night's horrific attacks in Paris passed through Greece in October, according to a Greek minister.

The passport was retrieved from one of the suicide bombers who blew himself up outside the Stade de France stadium as part of last night's coordinated attacks, which killed at least 127 people.

The man, who is understood to be 25, passed through the island of Leros of October 3, where he was identified ‘according to EU rules’.

One of them is a Syrian refugee in the terrorist attacks.

Quote
Another of the terrorists involved in last night's attacks in Paris has been officially identified as a Parisian, according to local media reports.

The man, who was killed at the Bataclan, was identified using his fingerprints and was from the southern Parisian neighbourhood of Courcouronnes.

French reports say that the man, who was around 30 years old, was already known to French anti-terrorist authorities prior to last night's attacks.

An Egyptian passport has also been reportedly recovered from one of the three men who attacked the stadium.

The second of the stadium suicide bombers is believed to have been as young as 15 years old.

Three of the eight terrorists have now been identified: the two men with the Syrian and Egyptian passports outside the stadium, and the known French extremist at the Bataclan.

The one who attacked Bataclan is a Parisian. One is young as 15 years old. One of them might be European. Possible a convert.

Quote
Another witness who was in the road front of the concert hall before the attack and saw at least one of the assassins told BMFTV that he wasn't hooded: 'I saw a guy, quite small, white, European looking. He was in front of the Bataclan. He had his gun to his shoulder and I saw the flashes and then I heard "Bam.Bam.Bam".'

In September, Obama said the U.S. could accept as many as 10,000 Syrian refugees if the government can screen and clear such a high level over the next year. By 2017, the U.S. could accept as many as 100,000 refugees from Syria, up from its current annual total of 85,000.  The U.S. Defense Department said it will provide $115 million in humanitarian aid to refugees displaced from Syria and Iraq.

I don't understand why the DOD is taking on the roll of the Red Cross.

My personal thoughts/observations about the attacks

Terrorism is just another word for War

Groups and governments have used tactics to terrorize their enemies throughout the history of Mankind. Carpet bombings during WWII were an effort to terrorize Germany and Japan to sue for peace. Gas attacks during WWI was a similar effort. B-52 raids in Vietnam were a similar tactic. And then we have “Shock and Awe” the efforts of Desert Storm.

Quote
Paris is Just a Small Slice of WWIII?

Those are Pope Francis' words.

Is he right or wrong?

First, we have a major invasion of Europe by people from the Middle East and Africa. At what point do they actively set about changing the very mores and customs of the various countries? Impost their Sharia Law?

This will sound cold, but it appeared quite easy to carry them out – especially since the attackers cared nothing for their own lives. They clearly expected to do and appeared willing to accept death.

Some years ago, I wrote Blood in the Meadow about a New Year's Eve terrorist attack in Las Vegas. In doing the research, it frightened me to discover just how easy that would be and what little was needed to do it. It could happen there or anywhere in America – or the world. And sadly, it could easily happen here – or anywhere in the world unless authorities take strong steps to stop it.

Do they have the determination to do what is needed? I doubt it.

Paris attacker was syrian refugee who arrived in Greece last month.

I am aware that this is an off-beat site.  However, Jones is unafraid to post anything.

I'm sure to a degree, that's true.  But let's not forget that 1 identified terrorist was a Syrian refugee.

You'd think O would want to slow down his Syrian refugees.  Granted this updated article is pre-Paris attack, but it shows O is accelerating the course.

Quote
The Obama administration is moving to increase and accelerate the number of Syrian refugees who might be admitted into the United States by opening new screening outposts in Iraq and Lebanon, administration officials told Reuters on Friday.

The move comes after President Barack Obama pledged in September to admit an additional 10,000 Syrian refugees in 2016, torn by four years of civil war and disorder.

The U.S. State Department confirmed the plans to open a refugee settlement processing centre in Erbil, Iraq, before the end of 2015, and to resume refugee processing in Lebanon in early 2016, said spokeswoman Danna Van Brandt.

The White House would not say how many additional refugees it may take in beyond the 10,000, but two senior administration officials said they are seeking ways to increase the number.

Barry needs to bring in refugees to bring this country down and complete his destruction.  IF we don't start making demands from our Congressional leaders to stop the influx of refugees, I have no doubt we will have an attack worse that what Paris just experienced before the 2016 election.

I hope and pray that Americans; Democrats and Republicans are finally taking notice and wake up and realize exactly what this president is doing and what's at stake.  This isn't a partisan issue.  This is an American issue and we better start making some demands before its too late.  Barry has another year to go.  I don't think we can wait that long.

France Strikes ISIS Targets in Syria in Retaliation for Attacks
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/11/16/world/europe/paris-terror-attack.html

Quote
PARIS — France bombed the Syrian city of Raqqa on Sunday night, its most aggressive strike against the Islamic State group it blames for killing 129 people in a string of terrorist attacks across Paris only two days before.

President François Hollande, who vowed to be “unforgiving with the barbarians” of the Islamic State after the carnage in Paris, decided on the airstrikes in a meeting with his national security team on Saturday, officials said.

While France has been conducting scores of airstrikes against the Islamic State in Iraq, it had been bombing inside Syria only sparingly, wary of inadvertently strengthening the hand of President Bashar al-Assad by killing his enemies.

France is not giving ISIS kid gloves.

Paris attacks terrorist suspect Ahmed Almuhamed 'was rescued near Greece after his refugee boat sunk'
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/paris-attacks-terrorist-suspect-ahmed-6836199

Quote
A terrorist behind the Paris attacks who allegedly posed as a Syrian refugee was rescued by Greek authorities after the migrant boat he had smuggled himself on sunk, it has been claimed.

According to Serbian media, a Syrian passport belonging to Ahmed Almuhamed was found at the scene of the attack at the Stade de France.

Now a Greek newspaper claims to have discovered the 25-year-old and a family member, called Mohammed Almuhmed, were rescued from a wrecked migrant boat that had sunk on the journey from Syria.

Looking more like that Ahmed Almuhamed is one of the "refugees" from Syria.

Manhunt underway for eighth suspect in Paris attacks
http://www.wftv.com/news/news/local/isis-claims-responsibility-paris-attacks/npNCB/

Quote
PARIS — A manhunt is currently underway for an eighth assailant that authorities believe might have fled after the Paris terrorist attacks that killed 129 people and injured more than 350.

Authorities are looking for Salah Abdeslam, 26, whom they believe is directly involved in Friday's attack in a Paris concert hall.

The man, one of three brothers believed involved in the killings in central Paris, rented the black Volkswagen Polo used by a group of hostage-takers that left at least 89 people dead inside the Bataclan concert hall, officials said.

The last time Paris was hit by terrorism in January of this year, another attacked happened at Création Tendance Découverte and Hypercacher.

As each hour has passed, the poignant gallery has grown. Stories of hope and despair emerged. A photograph of one French girl had the simple message: ‘Share please — she is only 17!’ Fourteen hours later, came an update: ‘She did not die!’

For others, there is tragedy. An appeal was launched for Marie and Mathias, who were at the Bataclan. But on Saturday a friend tweeted: ‘The search is finished. I have no words, only tears. Marie and Mathias both left us.’

Those missing, according to Twitter posts, include 12-year-old Lucie, a 15-year-old boy named Serkan and another girl described only as ‘young and beautiful’.

So many lives loss.  :( :bawl:

What Paris Taught Us About the Islamic State

This is a very informative piece about the history and future of ISIS. The biggest threat obviously comes from those who have fought on the ground and are now returning to the countries they came from. In singles or groups, as we saw in Paris, they can bring unknown pain and sorrow.

Unfortunately, this piece @ http://warontherocks.com/2015/11/what-paris-taught-us-about-the-islamic-state/ doesn't include a solution.

Personal view: So we bomb ISIS into dust. We destroy the oil fields and cut off their money and supply lines. We, for all sense and purpose, destroy it. Will it stop the loss of human life? Reduce the human misery? Give a chance for the people of the Middle East, Africa, and Asia to have a better life.

I doubt it. As long as lives are in the hands of so-called religious experts who teach them that death and destruction is what is demanded of them, it will never go away.

And, will this solve the problem?

The French interior minister: The French interior minister says he's going to start the "dissolution of mosques where hate is preached." MSNBC's Richard Lui reports that the French justice minister has confirmed that all the attackers are dead. (From MSNBC)

Why Islam Is a Religion of War @ http://canadafreepress.com/article/76787#When:14:34:00Z

“He it is who has sent His Messenger (Mohammed) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam) to make it victorious over all religions even though the infidels may resist.” Koran 61:9 Islamic violence is a religious problem. Islam derives meaning from physical supremacy, so war becomes an act of faith. To believe in Islam, is to have faith that it will conquer the entire world. And to be a true Muslim, is to feel called to aid in that global conquest, whether by providing money to the Jihadists or to become a Jihadist.

The Obama administration is looking to increase the number of Syrian refugees who may be admitted into the U.S. as well as speed up the process.

A committee aid has more sense than paid politicians:

Quote
“While all refugees are vetted against all known intelligence community holdings, the Committee is concerned that the lack of current, reliable intelligence on the ground in Syria makes it very difficult to determine with any certainty who is entering the United States. We could very well be accepting individuals connected to ISIS, al-Nusra, al-Qaeda or any one of the terror groups currently operating in Syria.”

Refugees are big business, compliments of taxpayers.

Has anyone seen specifics of the vetting process?  I haven’t.  What will they be doing, checking a register from the Syrian database?  So, in my imagination, it’d go something like this:
A = agent
S = syrian refugee

A:  Have you ever been associated with ISIL?
S:  I think isil is the glitter Americans put on winter trees.
A:  Let me try it this way.  Have you ever been involved in a terrorist organization?
S:  Oh, no.  I’m a practitioner of the religion of peace.
A:  As a future American, do you agree to follow our rule of law?
S:  I agree to follow Sharia law.
A:  One moment, let me look that up.  Okay, Sharia law is acceptable.
You’re vetting has been completed.  I’m going to provide you a
packet from the DNC to register to vote.  Move on to the next line
to receive your vouchers for free health care, free housing, welfare &
     food stamps.
      Next.

& what's the overall Congressional response?  "...not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse."
