... discover this is really good $hit1

Yes, DUmmies assemble to dissemble a word sandwich, hilarity ensues.

Ladies and gentlemen may I present for your edification and enjoyment the following thread:

The journey into madness begins with the following.

This is exactly the image that a Democratic Socialist is trying to convey:

... that he is such a freakin' Marxist that Che Guevara has a picture of him on a t-shirt.

As always, Bernie's biggest problem is his fan base.

The cartoon is provocative enough on the surface but the controversy it generates down thread about is what is a Socialist or Democrat or combination of the two terms.  Educated idiots?  Idiot savants?  Just plain brain dead liberals ?  You be the judge.  It is like tragedy and farce all rolled up in one when Vanlla Rhapsody gets into it with AgingAmerican..  Their sub thread could easily be titled " I know you are but what am I".

24. No sir...it is most assuredly NOT...
Do not call someone from the Netherlands, Norway or Europe Socialists...even Democratic Socialists....they will SCHOOL you!
Democratic socialism is a political ideology advocating a democratic political system alongside a socialist economic system, involving a combination of political democracy (usually multi-party democracy) with social ownership of the means of production. Although sometimes used synonymously with "socialism", the adjective "democratic" is sometimes added to distinguish itself from non-democratic forms of socialism, such as the Marxist–Leninist brand of socialism.
Democratic socialism is usually distinguished from both the Soviet model of centralized socialism and social democracy. This distinction arose from the authoritarian form of government and centralized economic system that emerged in the Soviet Union during the 20th century. A distinction is also made between democratic socialism and social democracy in that the former is committed to systemic transformation of the economy while the latter is not.

Democratic socialism rejects the social democratic view of reform through state intervention within capitalism, seeing capitalism as inherently incompatible with the democratic values of freedom, equality and solidarity. Democratic socialists believe that the issues inherent to capitalism can only be solved by transitioning from capitalism to socialism, by superseding private property with some form of social ownership, with any attempt to address the economic contradictions of capitalism through reforms only likely to generate more problems elsewhere in the capitalist economy.

However, "democratic socialism" is sometimes used as a synonym for social democracy, where "social democracy" usually refers to support for political democracy, regulation of the capitalist economy, and a welfare state.

29. They aren't socialists

They are Democratic Socialists. They do not have a socialist economic system, you made that up. The means of production is owned privately, not publicly as in a communist country.

Your post is red baiting.

...and off they go.
Head on over for a lot of side splitting laughs and massive amounts of American Progressive Miss Education.  Looks like the tasteless rhaper could be in contention for the title AP Miss Ed of the  year.

Well, the buzzy one's right; the problem with Methuselah is his followers; that's why franksolich is agin' them, and for the primitives supporting the worthier candidate for the Democrat nomination.

The Bernie bullies think too too too highly of themselves; they're self-righteous effete snobs.

I'm disappointed however to see that the buzzy one's back on Skins's island; as with the brooklynite primitive, he needs to hang with other Democrats and liberals who've done things of substance, rather than with the no-account primitives.

It's sort of like being part of the County Club set, but hanging around with the trailer court trash.

Well, the Bernie bullies aren't listening to the sage advice of the buzzy one, so the buzzy one might as well give up trying to convert the stupid, and concentrate his endeavors on more fertile areas.

Here by the way is the link to the first thread on Skins's island promoting this:

Any form of socialism falls apart on day 2 unless there is an authoritarian entity in place to keep it going.

Exactly!

It might start out one way in order to suck people in. But in the end, this is what it becomes...

Quote from:
... from the authoritarian form of government and centralized economic system that emerged in the Soviet Union during the 20th century.

Give any of those Scandinavian countries and their Socialist Democrat gov'ts enough time, eventually they'll become full blown commies.
