JUST was going to post this. I am surprised Dorkio served in any branch at all.

A question to our Conservative military members though: Is 2 years the standard, or is there a longer time period that is actually the standard. They love mentioning that they served. Not as if you guys would be prideful though. More like this:

Though, he did serve longer.

No disrespect here, but it seems to me that they took off after a very short period. (I've been at my job 3 consecutive yrars, and a grand total of 5) Many of them seem to just LOVE mentioning that they served even though it seems they took off as soon as they could.

It would be hilarious to match up MOS to internet bravado on some of these clowns.  Especially, the very loud and obnoxious ones.

No, he did his four and a 2 year Inactive Reserve requirement.  The common enlistment being a 4 x 2.  Hey, that's fine.  Nobody says you have to be  Audie Wayne.   You just have to show up.

That said, he's probably someone I would rather not be around when ammo is expended.

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

It depends on branch of service. The army offered a two year enlistment, but you were limited to certain career fields .  It does seem like the DUches,  if they truly did serve, were the trouble makers who got out after one enlistment.

I admit that I was nothing but a logistics geek, but I am still proud and thankful for my 22 years in the USMC.  And I never once took a picture of myself in the mirror.

I was a Signal officer for my four years, but I never saw a Signal battalion.  I did see two different Armored Cavalry Regiments as a Squadron Signal Officer.  Loved my cav experience.  I'd love to see the ACRs come back, as 2d, 3d, and 11th ACRs again.

It's funny how the DUches hate the patriotism of conservatives,  but are bragging about how much they love this country. The fact that they don't see the disconnect here is hilarious.

With all due respect for the Aristus primitive, who's losing his hair, I think that when he says "our" country, it doesn't coincide with franksolich's "our" country.

True enough Frank, They are probably referring to one of the socialist paradises they love to talk about. Because if they truly loved this country like they claim they do, they'd see their "socialist utopia" dreams are destroying OUR country.
