Gonna pat myself on the back (and maybe get others thinking?)
So, Saturday, I had to get medical care. (No worries; it needed immediate attention, but was simple to treat and I am much better.)
It being Saturday and this being Boston, that meant going to the hospital. I took a cab. On the way back, I had the presence of mind to tip the cab driver more than 100% of the fare. (Not as big a deal as it sounds. The fare was not much.)
And, as I handed him the money, I said "Keep the change and please consider voting for Senator Sanders in the Democratic primary." He looked as stunned as he could look. Don't know if it did any good, but I bet he tells the story to someone else.
The reason I pat myself on the back is, I don't think many people going to the pharmacy from the ER would have the presence of mind to squeeze in a bit of campaigning.
Where or how have you sneaked in a plug for Sanders?
Bouncy or mole? You decide.
If bouncy, kinda lame. I give it a 3.5 and most of that was for stunning the cab driver. No converted GOPer though and that detracts. Ended up with 3.5 which I think is fair.
If mole:
Pretty effective.
Draws the dummies in with "had to get medical care". Dummies love them some medical care. Doesn't plug obama care though. That detracts big time. Slaps the dummies upside the head that it could afford a cab and a great tip. Dials it down a little bit by saying it ain't much. To a dummie though, any tip, even a penny, is "much". Then draws the dummies back in by campaigning for bernie. Cab driver is stunned. Then builds up that it is a true dummie by patting itself on the back. Sign of a true dummie.
Now that part was well done.
Then backs it up by saying he/she/it went to the pharmacy. Dummies love them some pharmacy. I bet he/she/it gets all kinds of IM's asking what kind of drugs it got. Then plugs that it is campaigning again for bernie and slaps the dummies upside the face asking what they have done for their pet socialist.
If mole, I give it a 6.5.
