The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) free-trade deal is 5,544 pages long – that’s longer than both Obamacare and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)80%’s (R-FL) failed “Gang of
Eight” immigration bill.

Rubio’s immigration bill – which never cleared Congress – was just under 1,200 pages long, weighed roughly 24 pounds and was criticized for its large size and complexity.

This is more complicated than Obamacare as it is 5,544 pages long.

The Republicans are guilty of passing this abomination.

Sessions said this isn’t just a “trade agreement” or even a full-fledged treaty. It’s the creation of a new global governing structure akin to the European Union—one that cedes U.S. sovereignty to a yet-to-be-created international governing body.

obama just challenged Americans to read the bill so they can make their own judgement as to whether is is a good bill or not.  Question I have is, have any of our lawmakers or has obama himself read the bill?

A bill - ANY bill - should never be longer than it takes to read the damned thing by a single congresscritter on the floor, with all 435 of those assholes in attendance.

No bathroom breaks, no talking, no cell phones/tablets, no snacks, just STFU and listen to the bill. Every f'n word.

   It's mind boggling how a bill can be that long and our Congressmen vote on it without actually knowing what's in the bill; seems they pull a "Pelosi" more times than not.  With a bill that consists of that many pages there has to be no doubt that there is a whole lot of "fluff" in there that is in there because those issues wouldn't pass any other way but to include them in a monstrous sized bill.
