'Rumblings' of Super Bowl Boycott After Equal Rights Measure Rejected

Quote
Houston, we have a problem.

That's the message supporters of the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance (HERO) are sending after voters rejected the measure Tuesday by a margin of 61 percent to 39 percent.

The controversial measure would have established nondiscrimination protections for LGBTQ people in the city, among other groups.

Talk about sore loser. They have severe butthurt.  :mental:

I see what you did there!  :rotf:

1.) Do these LGBTLMNOP fools really think they can affect the profitability of a Super Bowl? I hope they waste butt-loads of $$ and time trying. It'll decrease the harm they could do if they tried possible things.

2.) Houston will be hosting Super Bowl 2017. Do these LGBTLMNOP fools really think they can keep whatever outrage they imagine they can foment burning for over a year? I hope they waste butt-loads of $$ and time trying.

The LGBTLMNOP activists' over-reach in "HERO" made them a stench in relatively liberal Houston (the vote was 61%-39%!). I can only imagine how much the activists' would harm their "cause" by doubling down and taking it national.

I'm not going to watch the Super Bowl on TV.  (OTOH, I'm not a football fan and have never watched more than a few minutes of any Super Bowl)  :-)
