Bernie was just on the Chris Hayes Show. He did a 10 minute segment/interview ... Not one mention of Black folks (unless you have decided that Black folks are poor and/or in prison).

In the interest of fairness, and the fact that Sanders has a better record on race and gay rights than Clinton, activists should also focus on the Clinton Campaign in 2016.

50 years ago black people started voting as a Borg-like voting block for Democrats after Lyndon Baines Johnson got Republicans to pass a watered down version of Eisenhower's civil rights legislation and black people have been marginalized ever since.

This has always been an issue, but I've always figured "the good will outlive the bad".  I'm not so sure anymore...rather doubtful, actually.

Apparently self-segregation SHOULD BE against the law.  When an area becomes "gentrified" (i.e. White people move into locations that are geographically desirable and then -- *GASP* -- upgrade the houses to make them expensive) the Blacks (like the millionaire Spike Lee) complain.
