It wasn't bad, actually.  He numbed the skin with some very cold gas, and the injection was pretty painless.  Apparently, there's enough end play in my knee joint that the insertion of the cortisone didn't interfere with anything.

I was just thinking about where you had gone--I was trying to remember if I had said anything to piss you off (that's fairly easy for me to do), and I couldn't think of anything.  I'm very glad to see you back! :cheersmate: :-)

Hey, hey Dave, glad to see you, and that thing are going well except for the knees. Other than enjoying retirement, finished upgrading my house and now working on a landscape project, that is about as exciting as it gets for me. Looking forward to going to the beach in a couple of months though.

Glad you could join us as you have been one of my favorite posters.

You're getting old, old man  :-)    Stay with the corisone shots as long as you can, don't let them cut into you..no wait, what am I saying..let them cut into you and you can come rehab at my facility, you do have good insurance right?   :-)

usual stuff going on with me, root canals, oral surgery, antibiotics which caused an reaction and an ass rash, then broke my toe, which made me a wee bit cranky!  Little bug is getting ready for kindergarten already!!!!!  OMG  I'm old too   :bawl:
