My Mother Was a Dorothy!


Was born to a Native American mother and a white father. Was called a "halfbreed" most of her young life. Was never allowed too visit her biological mother on the reservation. Was abused by a horrible stepmother. Had to drop out of school in 8th grade to work. Had two little baby girls by the age of 19 and divorced from an abusive husband. And then finally, she met this wonderful WW2 Veteran, who told her she was beautiful, who told her that her little girls were beautiful, who told her she was worthy, who convinced her to go back to school which she did, who married her and adopted those little girls and made them his own. She is gone now and I love her still. If I ever make a video about you mom and someone accuses me of using you as a tool, I will kick their ass into the next county. You were my Dorothy yesterday, you are my Dorothy today and you will be my Dorothy when I see you again.

I assume this apparently random :bouncy: is some sort of play for Prog-Cred, but I don't understand the Prog pecking order well enough to see what that point is.

FYI, this primitives post is in reference to a bern-out's post talking about how an ad put out by Billary plays on people's emotions as she talks about her mother and that she's relying on emotional appeal rather than dealing with the issues (as if the bern himself has been talking about anything other than his whacko version of the issues).  :mental:
