where's nadin?
« on: October 23, 2015, 11:51:58 AM »
Mexico's about to be slammed by the biggest hurricane, ever.

In case one's not aware, Mexico is the cousin's homeland, the Old Country, although she wasn't ever fond enough of it to stay down there.

The primitives on Skins's island are begging for information and guidance, but like the Sphinx, nadin remains coldly silent.

She was all uppity and huffy the last time she didn't get the adulation she felt she deserved.
No other site will put up with her like DU will...is she back on Facebook?

I'm not gonna give her blog/pretend newspaper a hit.

Maybe her parrots ate her.

Maybe she is getting the good rig ready, packing her EMS bag, honing her combat knife, and laying in a supply of milk for her rescue of people in need down there.

Here's hoping she's on the beach in Manzanillo, Mexico.   :cheersmate:

Not that the wind and water would effect her, given her girth and shape and all.

Well, while the biggest hurricane--apparently--since the Creation of the World strikes Mexico, this was the cousin's latest story:

Quote
East Plaza Boulevard On-ramp to Southbound I-805 Closed Beginning Friday

Oct 23, 2015 (CHP) – The East Plaza Boulevard on-ramp to southbound Interstate 805 (I-805) in National City will be closed to traffic for the weekend beginning Friday at 9 p.m. through Monday at 5 a.m., according to Caltrans. The ramp closure is necessary to accommodate improvements to the I-805/East Plaza Boulevard interchange, as part of the I-805 South Express Lanes Project.

Detours from East Plaza Boulevard to southbound I-805 are as follows: Motorists traveling west on East Plaza Boulevard will be directed to travel south on Highland Avenue, to eastbound State Route 54, to I-805. Motorists traveling east on East Plaza Boulevard will be detoured to travel south on Euclid Avenue to I-805.

Although crews will work to minimize impacts to businesses, residents and commuters, nearby residents can expect intermittent lights and noise during these construction activities.

The improvements under construction at East Plaza Boulevard are part of the first phase of the I-805 South Express Lanes Project, a $1.1 billion effort to create a modern new transportation backbone for South County. The first phase of the I-805 South Express Lanes Project will be completed in late fall.

Project information is available at http://www.keepsandiegomoving.com or by calling the Project Hotline at (888) 941-5005. Follow https://twitter.com@SDCaltrans and visit https://www.facebook.com/CaltransDistrict11 to keep current on transportation information in San Diego and Imperial counties.

Motorists are reminded to Be Work Zone Alert and to Move Over a lane when safe to do so, or slow when highway workers are present with amber lights flashing.

If you're missing your daily dose of nadin you can check out this link from last month. http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251605775

A lot of classic nadinisms are displayed.

51. Sorry, Mondale was not campaigning in a populist moment

Clinton did, somewhat, in 1992 by the way...but far less than now.

And I just pointed to a history...we call them facts. Have an excellent day from now on talking to yourself. And I will be as condescending to you as you are to others.

By the way...I cover this shit...we support nobody. Do you understand that? Some of us though have to do our ****ing homework and watch those videos, they are in the archives and searchable, and read those economists.

So I am dealing in facts, not innuendo.

59. Since you are a prime example of what and who that was directed at

Why the hell should I take orders from you? Suffice to say I will continue to be as condescending to you as you are to other posters.

Mind you, those two calls were locked by hosts as meta or something, so they cannot be deleted, and the lock was telling. Management wants this. So it is what it is.

So continue to laugh, and please another personal attack, pretty please!!!!!

Make sure you do better than lower than whale shit though.

76. Like most people working in media

And doing analysis. Many come from history, law and political science. I am a trained historian and working with living history is about the same.

Very revealing you are proven wrong as to Latinos actually being profiled and you turned this into more micro aggression attacks.

This continues to be extremely revealing. Oh and before you do it, I expect you to tell me that I did not go to college either. Some of your friends have as well.

The echoes of another place online are eerie. They do this shit in their fantasy writing often. I recommend you stop doing that without at least a good, stout safety line.

78. Nah this whole thing reveals you

For the bully you are. Facts are ignored and instead you make this about me.

It is to the point of being damn well... Comedic

The fact you do that, and not just to me, but often. .. Tells me you are not into issues but into attacking people.

Go ahead. Tell me once again how I am playing victim while you are doing a fine job of an attempt at bullying. I say attempt because the tricks usually work. Must be rather frustrating when they stop working

And you first refusing to admit Latinos are profiled is racist, there I said it. You telling me I am not what I am I called it. Why? Because your type does this. I have a very good idea why after talking to experts in well, yes, bullying behavior.

To be honest at this time not only it is predictable but rather cute.

249. Nail meet hammer

And I say the attempts have to be rejected and mostly ignored. These people are doing incredible damage, not that they will ever admit it. Hell, i don't think they even realize it. The bullshit has gotten truly personal. It is a lot of things that they will never admit to doing.

As for me, at this point all I can do is laugh. After all the bullshit will only divide and ultimately help the ones they claim to hate, that be the GOP. These are things that make you go hmmm. And the GOP should thank them as well.

The Biden article intrigues me.

Bernie Sanders (I-VT) honored the decision not to run, and also Biden’s defense of the middle class.

The above sentence in particular intrigues me. What does "honored" mean in the sentence? That comma is apparently a bully and just jumped in of its own accord.

You know, while I was sleeping last night, I began wondering about something, and am still wondering about it.

Does nadin see that she's miserable and wretched?

Or do just we on the outside see that?

She is blind to her misery. Her narcissism is the cause.
She thinks that is her natural state of being.

Hey Nads! How is it Bravenak gets more respect than you?

I think Mannn is probably right. She sees herself as the gold standard to which everyone else should strive.

Nah, the native populace would be doing their best to roll her back into the sea.  :)

I figured they'd use her as a portable dike to keep the rising sea water back.

The DUmp has what appears to be an almost inexhaustible supply of dykes that could be used for just that purpose.

Oh, wait- you actually typed dike.  My apologies.
