It takes a bit of nadining and piecing together to get a somewhat full picture of what this dude was, apparently, doing:

WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) - 7 Action News has learned police in West Bloomfield found questionable evidence in a trunk of a car that suggests an area doctor may have been performing illegal abortions.
He has been identified as Michael Arthur Roth. Roth is under investigation, but he has not been charged.
Sources confirm 14 containers of human tissue, possibly fetuses, medical equipment and large amounts of Fentanyl, a drug used for pain and sedation, was found in a car owned by the doctor who works as an OB/GYN.

The discovery of the contents of Roth’s trunk came about haphazardly. Two weeks ago, Roth hit a child with special needs, who was critically injured. After his car was impounded when police began the investigation into the accident, officers obtained a search warrant to obtain the “black box†data recorder from the car and discovered the human tissue in containers and medical equipment during the search. The Fentanyl was found in the console of the passenger compartment, and no labels or medical records were found with the containers.

According to LifeNews, Right to Life of Michigan reports, “Roth has a long history of violations, including two previous at-home abortions he performed in 1998 and 1999.â€
The pro-life group released a report in 2012 called “Abortion Abuses and State Regulatory Agency Failure,†which revealed several of Roth’s violations.
“In addition to his at-home abortions, Roth was disciplined in 2002 for drug-related violations, including prescribing drugs without a license,†Right to Life said.

Roth has a history of alleged malpractice, public records obtained by abortiondocs.org show. He agreed to pay $200,000 for botching an abortion, and another in which the Michigan Board of Medicine fined him $2,000 for violating public health code in two abortions and for perforating a woman’s uterus.
Evidently this
insult-to-butchers was - and has an established record of doing - illegal and dangerous in-home abortions, using sedatives illegally while doing so, and dispensing medications illegally. And of negligently/carelessly harming women. Here is (one of?) Michigan's Kermit Gosnell. I'm sure there are more, in MI, and in other states, unexposed until they do something so egregious that the bureaucrats can no longer cover them up, or, like this guy, they expose themselves coincidentally.
