I just came in from the afternoon feeding session. I just discovered the work. We had 1/2 inch of rain early this morning so there are tracks in the mud of coming and going.

S/he is digging a small cave under our rail road tie retaining wall. We hope to position the camera and have photos of the work in progress by the weekend.

The problem here is that the big guy thinks that by housing a homeless squirrel, it's the equivalence of housing a horde of homeless humans.
