New Speaker?
« on: September 29, 2015, 07:14:18 AM »
OK McCarthy should be OUT! On the news circuit this morning he praised and coronated Boehner as the next Pope, bragging about how great he was/is. If he thinks this of him he can't be a rational conservative.
I hear there is now talk of Trey Gowdy? Thoughts?

I think it will come down to McCarthy and Daniel Webster of Florida.  Of the two I'm hoping it's Webster.  He's already got Louie Gohmert backing him.  That's a good recommendation for me.

Today on Fox & Friends, Trey Gowdy's name was mentioned to take over the position of Majority Leader on a temporary basis.

I would want Trey Gowdy as Speaker only if he can keep on with his current investigative endeavors.

I have a few misgivings about Trey Gowdy.  Granted, there is no perfection in politics.  Since I'm in SC, I have an interest in reading more on our Rep.

- Weak on border security.

- Rubio supporter.  I realize Rubio has alot of support & there's talk he's going up in the polls.  Personally, I see him as another Jeb Bush.

- missed opportunities on Benghazi investigation.

Benghazi was a big gun run. Gowdy was told up front to not go there and he never did.

After watching McCarthy on Hannity tonight, he sounded passive with his comments about P.P, the Iran deal and Immigration. In other words, let's study these issues in committee meetings to death. We do not need another limp d..k RINO as speaker.

Trey would be a much better choice IMO.

I hope that in our search for Harvey Dent, we don't end up with twoface.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

I don't think many are looking for PERFECT just someone who recognizes that WE have the Majority is all.
Not someone who endlessly says well OBlamer won't like this or that, who cares what he wants we are the majority, let HIM VETO bills not just cave and smell his *ss!
