It's been 10 years since I've splurged on one of their juices and I think I stopped cold when they got to three bucks for pear nectar.People with kids are just going to have to mix the good stuff with seltzer water and hope the kids think they're drinking soda.

lurky (1000+ posts) Fri Jul-25-08 12:49 AMResponse to Original message9. Saw a $4 can of beans last night in the supermarket. 12 oz can of "organic" black beans for $3.99. Sure, this is New York, but I still wanted to punch someone.

More money going toward juice means less money for pot. I can see their dilemma.

Does it mean one side of the plant/bush/tree is fertilized with chemical fertilizer while the other side is fertilized with turds?Another question, what if the animal whose turds are used as fertilizer has been fed with feed containing chemicals? Does that make the animal's turds no longer "organic"?
