primitives giving up on impeachment

You know, it was really odd.

At the time I was on Skins's island, there was one bonfire, started by the Swanson TV dinner primitive, entitled "Congress Hears Ringing Call for Impeachment".....and then right below that one, right next in line, was this bonfire.

The primitives really need to coordinate their communal "reality."

Anyway.

There will be no impeachement, they got away with it, and we have yet another media-created illusion to replace the current and last media-created illusion.

Some hard truth, incase you want to smoke an unfiltered.

1. I don't know what you're saying beyond the "there will be no impeachment" = but I agree with you on that.

2. I have to agree.

I don't see how impeachment is anything but dead in the water at this point. If this were '05 or '06 I'd say there'd be enough time to get it done. gop dirty tactics aside, this seems to me like a face-saving attempt for the Dems; being able to say that at least they tried to get him outta there.

3. In the game of cold politics, you win if you abandon all morals except ambition for power.

They won't impeach precisely because they feel it would cost them seats, thus power. They likely want the kind of power the White House has accumulated over the last eight years, an accumulation partially aided by several Democrats' complicity. You have to remember that all political parties exist to win power. Sometimes that's not the same as the interests of the people.

4. I too sadly agree.

And of course the media couldn't roll over fast enough. Makes me sick. The only thing now than can hold them to justice is Karma..

5. your time scale is limited...

just because the storm is landing, it still does not speak anything about the aftermath... or resolution and reconstruction.

however, under your finite expectations of judgment and punishment under human and national law within the next few years, yes, your expectations will be satisfied.

The nutty primitive lost me, but never mind.

7. you don't know that. why not let the committees do what the committees do?

it hasn't happened yet.

let it play out.

and if it's wrong we can all be pissed. and post something like you did tonight.

but let it play out...

franksolich has a prediction, and a damned reasonable one, too.

franksolich predicts that as late as 8:59 a.m. central time, 7:59 a.m. mountain time, January 20, 2009, there will still be a gaggle and giggle of primitives screaming for impeachment.

It'll be longer than that, Coach. They'll look to retroactively impeach him and they'll still be clamoring for him to hang at The Hague for his "crimes against humanity."

At the very least, they'll pass some kind of meaningless resolution condemning the actions of Bushco over the last 8 years.
Never demand that which you are incapable of taking by force, DUmmie.

BOO-WHOO :bawl:: someone just threatened to take away their favorite toy.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

It's about validation.  Those little DU goons are always in search of validation.  Since impeachment isn't happening, because there is no reason, they will start making up all kinds of fantasies about why "he got away with it".

When two-term Republican President George W. Bush leaves office with his head held high and his dignity in tact, it will mean Democrat President William J. Clinton is still the sleaziest, most corrupt, perjurer, and obstructor of justice who ever sat in the Oval Office.

Revenge for the Clinton impeachment has always been the goal.  It has been lost somewhere in the massive BDS, but it is still the driving motive.  The fact there was 130+ years between the first presidential impeachment of democrat President Andrew Johnson and the second presidential impeachment of democrat President William J. Clinton never gave the little DUmpgoonie a clue as to how rare and special impeachment is considered in Washington.

Aw come on - do not give up yet. There is much more fun to be had watching you DUmmy freaks running around, hair on fire, tying yourselves up in knots over President Bush's "crimes".

I heard the VRWC had was funding a black ops to make the Fitzmas II sequel trials.
