The dummie wants renewable power... just not in her back yard. Typical lib.
I generally despise the
If You Really Were A ... You'd ... game, but I'll play it back at Libs & Progs who so love to use it.
If LB were really concerned about the environment and wind turbines' impact thereon, she'd be screaming about the vast acreage they require (hilltops and valleys in wild areas) and the further disturbance of nature with the roads and equipment to build, maintain, and operate the things.
Seriously! Why raise a stink about (imaginary?) electrified soil and infrasonic something-or-other when the grossest damage done to the environment by wind turbines and solar farms is the vast acreage they occupy and the wildlife they fry or chop up? Wanna talk about what is done with the silicon panels (or other PV materials) after solar panels are replaced? Wanna talk about the decaying and abandoned wind farm equipment and structures after the fly-by-night operating companies who are unable to do maintenance then go out of business?
Wind turbines and solar panels, in their then present state-of-the-art form, were proven to be horribly uneconomic boondoggles back in the 1970s. Despite some technological advances, they are still far from being economically viable without government subsidies, forced buying programs, or other government manipulations.
Why in Hades are the Feds and states dumping God knows how many billions of dollars into wind and solar to demonstrate, AGAIN, the grossly obvious?!!!
