If you haven't already, please do so. You will see many familiar names you run across daily here at DU -- the site is HIGHLY enlightening and will let you see the true faces of those who you are are interacting with. Let me tell you: it ain't pretty. I have decided to use this learning opportunity to up my support for the Sanders campaign. I am now even more dedicated to making him our next President.

I hope there isn't a similar site for Sanders. They are afraid to discuss issues so they rely on hate. It's clearly authoritarian behavior. They will follow their leader Clinton anywhere regardless of her stands on issues. Ask any of them how Clinton stands on a specific and they are unable to respond.

I wanted to thank Hell Hath No Fury for linking to one of my OPs from another site. Unfortunately, he/she posted it in the BS Group, from which I have been banned, so I cannot thank him/her directly in the appropriate thread.

I have never called a Clinton supporter a name. And the only 'name' I ever called Clinton was a 'narcissist' (which she is!), and I got a hide for that. 

Some there that I once respected or at least thought nothing of in particular will certainly be untrustworthy now. I will put as many of them on Ignore as possible but the Jury Blacklist is not big enough for all of them. That really needs changing!

I don't see how DU will recover from this no matter who wins the primary.

83. It is not just the curiosity factor. It is the fact that these are people we thought of as like minded individuals. Some of them have been here for many years and were respected as real progressives. This is a big let down.

We've been through a lot on DU and been mainly in agreement on many issues and events like:

The Bush stolen election
9/11
The Iraq War lies
LGBT rights
Climate change


There has also been a level of infighting with issues like:

Occupy
Howard Dean
Michael Brown
gun rights
Black Lives Matter


We had the Pumas that started their own site but this is taking things to a new level of complete disrespect from people that we shared support with many of the issues.

It is really disheartening to those of us that have been around for a while to witness what I can only describe as a complete betrayal of DU principles by some of those we respected.

If we begin using our tax dollars to make this country a better place for us, with health care for all, free college, far less war, deprivatized prisons, successful taxation of corporations who've offshored profits, etc., then WHY is that so bad? Makes me support Bernie more, because he's right. He's been right all along, and it is these third way people who have been wrong. Wrong for the nation, wrong for the middle class, wrong for the poor.

I alerted on portlander's posts (two different threads) and then .... nothing ... No email re: jury results and the pink ribbon of "your alert has been sent" at the bottom of the post is gone.

I suspect hosts on DU are now killing alerts to protect the bernions.
