Colorado To Double Population By 2040. Yuk.
The Californication of Colorado will be complete before mid century. You can see the cancerous growth every day. No one is talking about sustainable growth. And developers will probably build out a continuous city from border to border north to south. Even now you cannot go into the mountains on the week end without being bumper to bumper.

People are bitching about the coyotes and mountain lions eating their cats and dogs. They want these creatures controlled or destroyed. Bears are infiltrating into populated areas looking for food.

Recently on the news it was announced that much of the water will eventually be continuously recycled water supplemented by some runoff. We seem to be more creative about supporting explosive growth that will eventually ruin the state than we are about maintaining sensible growth.

That means wildlife will lose more and more of its habitat to human development. And more and more houses will be built in high fire zones and wild habitat.

At some point nature will intervene. And it will be harsh.

Gee, Bob, what if some other freak moved there and suddenly there was an even number of feet in Colorado?

Seriously, lurking DUmmies: when are you ass****s going to point out to Buttbrained Banzin that a goodly portion of the population growth will of the light brown variety from Mexico that your Dear Leader reckons will juice in a Dem majority forever?

TMN isn't jumping for joy - metaphorically, of course - at the prospect of CA liberals bringing the tax-regulate-and-spend NIMBY politics driving out businesses and normal people to CO? What's up with that?

As for his fears of CO being paved and condo'ed over, has he ever looked at a map of CA? CA's population density isn't that high, and there are large parts of the state that are very thinly populated (multi-county regions!).

TMN is displaying his no-growth xenophobia, but to the degree it's Prog-on-Prog, works for me !

Speak for yourself, frank!  I'm the same age as you, and I'll only be 82 in 2040, which given my family's history (Mom is 84 NOW, and still thriving!) would give me another 10-20 years.

Depending on how badly Dems "F" things up will determine if they are "good years" or not.
