I sure hope Bobby Jindal 'just says no'

Seems these rumors won't abate.  Maybe its a MSM ploy to craft disappointment.  Maybe its meaningless speculation to sell ads.

Whatever, putting him on the ticket makes no sense and kills the whole inexperience angle vis-a-vie BHO.

McCain cannot attack Obama's inexperience and then put a Jindal on the ticket.

I hope he picks someone else too just for that reason. The media will latch on to nothing else. It won't matter how talented Jindal is.

Yeah.  And while I believe Jindal WILL accomplish much over his career, he ain't done nothing yet.

Lets just go with Mittens to balance out the ticket with economic expertise and a non-DC guy.

Jindal was on Glenn Beck last night.  Glenn begged and pleaded with the man to accept if McCain offered it to him, just to get a conservative influence into the ticket with The Other Liberal (the one who's not the Obamassiah.)

Gov. Jindal said that the one thing that the Republicans in his state are most sick of are politicians who don't keep their word.  He'd given his word that he was there to clean up the political nightmare that was Louisiana's government, and according to him, he's not done yet.

I like this guy.

After the whole pay raise issue and the lesson he learned there, I think he's probably sticking to his word.

It could be said Jindal's biography follows the same template as that Obama Hussein character.  There are important differences.  Jindal is ten years younger (too young for Washington).  Jindal has an American birth certificate.  Jindal has actual executive experience in addition to other offices.  He is not merely intelligent - he has good sense.  His life experiences has lead him in a thoughtful and traditionally American direction.  Jindal seems to have maturity and wisdom beyond his years.

8 or 10 years from now Jindal will be a gift to any political ticket in either position.  Right now, he simply isn't ready for primetime.  Jindal is still/already miles ahead of Hussein, which proves another point for another day..

Add to that that Bobby Jindal doesn't look upon himself as the second ****ing coming of Jesus Christ, and you've got a politician who might just get promoted to 'Statesman' someday.

To me, all the hype over Bobby Jindal is just a smoke screen. He adds nothing to the ticket as McCain is going to take LA anyway. He does add cover to the selection process and takes about news cycles from BHO and keeps them on McCain.

I like this guy.

I find Jindal to be a fairly sincere fellow, although I havent read much about him. Medved is a Jindal cheerleader and so far, Jindal wont bite at the VP slot... and I think McCain needs someone a bit closer to his age or there will be too much of a divide - and it looks pandering.
