My humble suggestion, Frank, open the field up to those who don't post in DUMMYWORLD but embody the same nauseating principles ideas as those idiots.  You could put asshats like Obama outside of the nomination process so that his disgusting self wouldn't succeed (in the first arena ever).

'The fourteen Points of Fascism' is totally in the public domain, but The 'reporter' from San Diego chose to post someone's essay expounding on them, and that body of work WAS copyrighted. She totally knows she screwed up but will NEVER admit it, and that is why she scrubbed the OP so fast then started playing the ridicules martyr card.


That someone's essay was TWO PARAGRAPHS from Milton Mayer's "They Thought they Were Free."

You can find an excerpt of the book, much larger than I quoted actually, at the University of Chicago site, and you can find the FULL BOOOK at Amazon

I highly recommend you go and BUY the damn book and read it in full. The full book should lose copyright protections and enter the commons in 2030 unless UCP renews the copyright, which is quite possible. Given the fact that this is a historic document, they likely will not.

I have concluded that people here have no clue about copyright once again. They also are targeting me for whatever reason. (I actually suspect I know why but that is neither here or there, and it is not a nice reason, the word starts with the letter R though) I am not playing victim. I knew exactly what I was doing, and I am pissed at the enforcement of a rule that if you are going to enforce there are plenty of violations every day. Hell, yesterday on the first page of GD-P is saw at least 5 OPs alone with real violations, not imagined, selective enforcement kind.

And yes, I am pissed and have a target on my back. I am not playing martyr, just starting facts here.

And when even an explanation, as general as this is , is locked even though it intends to inform, you know there is a problem in this place.

And yes, to the hosts, prove me right once again and lock this, just as you locked this post informing people on how copyright actually works. I think that one would be helpful, not just to people getting hot under the collar, but budding authors... even kids going to college who might be working with all kinds of copyright sources.

Have a good one... I got better things to do at this time. (Like listening to scanners right at the moment)

And I will add this. Attacks on my person are not cool either. Using quotation marks when I am a reporter is not cool. But i have concluded that this is what is allowed here. And brother buzz has now been alerted, and his email blocked.

People dislike you because you're kind of a jerk to other posters, because you claim expertise you do not possess, and because you've got a persecution complex the likes of which I've never seen.

An I would point out that your post was never pulled by admins, so this notion that you've got a "target" on your back is patently ridiculous.
