This is life and death. People are ****ing DYING out there, every ****ing day. The NRA is a Republican organization, and we have people here who are supposed to be Democrats spouting their propaganda every time another shooting gets attention, which is every other week now these days. Not to mention the fact that it happens EVERY DAY and only gets covered by the media when there's something ELSE connected to it, like race or live TV or a bigger number of casualties. Because it's so ****ing commonplace that it ant be covered by the media unless the body count is in double digits now.

Theatres checking bags. Metal detectors and teachers with guns. Can't go to a mall without feeling afraid. Can't go to work without feeling afraid. Locked doors and gates around communities. This is a ****ing dystopia. This is not a civilized socitety. It's not a movie, or a book, it's the real ****ing world.

So forgive me - or don't - if I refrain from being polite to your total ****ing bullshit. Because that's what it is, complete and total bull ****ing SHIT. And I implore everybody who gives a shit to stop treating these assholes with kid gloves. They are parroting total ****ing lies from NRA talking points and WE MUST CALL THEM OUT. Enough is enough. People are dying. This is not some ****ing game.

2. I agree completely, but they will silence you the same way certain other types will.

Being polite is nice if discussing the most recent book club selection while enjoying tea and crumpets, but while talking about the gun situation, there should be no politeness, not yet.

The pro gun side simply has not earned it
