I don't care what anyone thinks about their right to own guns

These things suck. There is absolutely no reason or excuse to have so many guns. For every ****ing lunatic in the US to own a gun. The second amendment was never made to justify the current frenzy.

Granted, it will be a long journey filled with plenty of setbacks and protests from the gun crowd; but it will happen. We have reached a point where we need to say enough is enough and start dealing with the primary enabler of this gun violence epidemic. Maybe Elizabeth Warren will step up and start this movement.

22. Repeal opens the door to future actions.

Putting gunmakers out of business, prohibiting gun possession and changing American culture to devalue guns and remove them from existence are the next steps. None of this is going to happen immediately but they can happen once we start advocating for them as our society slowly changes to abhor guns and the violence associated with them.

Gun ownership rates have been dropping for years. This is unlikely to change. Much like Republicans, the number of gun owners faces a demographic reduction which we on the left need to use to our advantage.

The ones that do have lots of guns. Of that 32% I think only a very small group is batshit crazy nutz and they are the NRA that buys legislators like they were a mark down item at Macys.

We can, and will, make a difference someday. Look at what's happening now, three Democratic Presidential candidates all talking about gun control. When did that happen last?

The 32% is nonsense. When I lived in Chicago handguns were illegal but everyone had one. Since it was illegal no one would admit it except to friends.

It's not those of us who look for sane gun laws. It's gun nuts who cling to guns when they "think" their precious guns are going to be taken away that bring up gun numbers. It's the stupid of America that need to own guns. Let's hope some day we will be able to walk the streets without gun nuts lurking around to save the day, or shoot innocent people in the process of being a "Hero".

The way Obama has gone about denying laws will not work in this case. Obama chooses to get around that which he considers problems by refusing to enforce existing law. The only thing that tactic would do is make it easier to legally purchase firearms.

Every mother effing thing is racism to these lunatics. They are the main reason that there is a race problem in this country. It all goes to show just how naive I can sometimes be. I don't think I've admitted this to anyone before, but I'm going to do it now.

When the pretender in chief won the election I was admittedly disappointed, but I saw a bright spot. The people of America had just elected a minority to the highest office in the land. Despite my political differences with the man I figured this election had a bright spot in that it would finally lay to rest the dying embers of racism in America, but instead the racist liberals fanned those embers into a raging inferno that would send a tingle down nadin's leg.  Or in Spinal Tap terms, they turned the racism amp to eleven.

The regular person thought about it and finally agreed. So the DUmmy climbed up on his back, and the regular person began to swim. But halfway across the river, the DUmmy took his wallet. I grew up in a house that never really talked about guns.  Although my dad owned one, we never went shooting, and never really showed an interest in guns.

My brother now owns four guns, and I plan to purchase a few in the near future.

After hitlary drops out, I really hope Warren is the nominee and I hope she shouts gun control and repeal of the 2A from the rooftops as one of her main policy positions. We'd see a landslide bigger than Reagan with Dems reduced to minority status for quite a while.

I think Biden will get the nod.  He'll stick his feet (yes, both of them) in his mouth on guns, citing several disproved studies along the way, and we'll have a Republican as President, because Biden will have to defend Obama's legacy on so many things.  Whether or not that Republicam is a Conservative depends on us, and other Conservatives.

The problem with that premise is this--blacks haven't done well in the Age of Obama, and a lot of them know it.  They won't say anything because he's still President.  They will when any other race other than a (half) black man runs.  A fair amount of them may just stay home that day, no matter what they say that they're going to do.  Watch the voter enthusiasm numbers.

the half-white won't be running again, and with no woman, where's the incentive? Enter Warren (as VP maybe) to stir them up. I don't understand why blacks continue to vote for a political party that does nothing for them since the dems know they have the vote locked up.

I'm not so sure. She (I use the term loosely) knows many if not most of bathhouse barrys dirty little secrets. I suspect the quietly held meeting between bathhouse and creepy joe a few days ago, was to tell him in no uncertain terms "Don't even think about it". They may all be under the same party banner, but in the end, a clinton is on no ones side but their own, and bathhouse is well aware of that, as are the rest of the democrat party.

I suspect that they are stuck putting all their eggs in her basket, and are not at all happy about it.
