If there is one war I support, its full scale war against North Korea. Now revoke my liberal card because I think for myself.

Crushing their pretend-government would be great, unfortunately China regards them as a brain-damaged-but-still-theirs part of its little family, and would take great (And armed) umbrage at such a move.

Is this character one of TMN's disciples? Or a TMN sock puppet? Even a DU member pointed out that the internment camps were built and internees sent there by FDR and his administration!

As for Rs interning Koreans or all Asians (being a racist, he probably only referred to East Asians), his ignorance is stunning! Where would we get out kimchi and sashimi?! Seriously, people of Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, and ______ have become parts of American culture. Rs, at least, understand that, rather than viewing "them" as enclaves of various kinds of "other".

More personally, this conservative registered R had the honor, over 2 years ago, of starting to welcome my son's fiance' (now his wife) into our family. Her ancestry is East Asian, and she and her parents came to the US as immigrants (she was, at the time, a young child). And one of my daughters is attending university in China, learning Mandarin and Chinese culture. I could go on about the people I work with and the people I grew up with, but the point is, this dude's been smoking some really bad @#$% if he really believes Asians are in the slightest danger of being interned by Rs.

OTOH, Asians are Ethnicity Non Grata in Lib/Prog-run universities, so this DU-character may well be pointing his fingers in the diametrically wrong direction!

I'm not up on Korean war history, but it seems to me it became the U.S. vs. China after a year or so with the North Koreans involved somewhat.

You are correct. Invade N. Korea and China will be in it in a heartbeat.

That is industrial-grade stupid. It does fit or work if applied to virtually any war I can recall. And it has the bonus benefit that, if the attacked party refuses to join in the "failure", i.e. refuses to fight back, they will be enslaved. Maybe madokie is foolish enough to fancy that the Communists or Jihadis who might finally conquer the US because the US didn't want to "fail" will let him/her participate in sending resistant American people off to Gulags, or hack their heads off?

I guess this DUmmie doesn't realize in any war there is an aggressor. I guess he/she/it figures if all parties just decide to hang around a campfire and sing kumbaya while another group beats on some drums all will be right with the world. May I suggest they travel to the middle east, sit down with ISIS and try that strategy?

2ID is gone from Korea.  They are rotating in Brigades from the states now to hold the line so to speak. 9 month tours.

What's ironic about that is that the first unit they send to be one of the rotational brigades there is 1st Cav.  Anyone with even the smallest knowledge of military history knows that 1st Cav doesn't have a good track record in Korea.

Correct.  Most reports say it's a rumor but everything seems to revolve around the 8th Cav's battle at Unsan.
