BLM St. Paul planning protest at Minnesota State Fair
Black Lives Matter St. Paul is planning a march and rally during the Minnesota State Fair, the group announced Thursday.

The event, called #BlackFair by the organizers, starts at 11 a.m. Aug. 29 in Hamline Park in St. Paul. The protesters will proceed up Snelling Avenue to the fairgrounds in Falcon Heights.

In a statement, the group said the State Fair has a history of denying people of color the opportunity to be vendors.

"When I look around the Fair, I don't see an equitable amount of businesses owned by people of color," Turner said. "Yet, if you look at what people call the 'help,' you see plenty of people of color picking up trash and taking tickets, etc., but very few black-owned businesses as vendors."

Hey, man, I hear you. When I think about the opportunity in this country, where all the wealth is, the site of the ACTION, it's the STATE FAIR. Because no one has it cushier than the crackas who stand over 3-day-old oil, frying dough.

What a load of horseshit. First of all, how do the BLM assholes know that the business aren't owned by Oprah, who oversees them from her throne while all the cracka-ass slaves do the grunt work? I thought they learned from Dolemite and other educational movies that there is ALWAYS a boss higher up, pulling the strings.

Next, let's see if we can uncover an ulterior motive. Hm. Do BLM assholes really want to own businesses that hawk wares at the State Fair, or do they just want to bellow and howl in a place where they know thousands of people will be?

Try to guess which I think it is. Why isn't BLM milling around on Wall Street, howling about jobs? Too few crackas to intimidate, that's why.

1. They're correct, no doubt. I have not seen a PoC as a vendor

at that fair, and I attend every year. How many have applied, I do not know. That would be pertinent information, I think.

And the MOMENT they start becoming vendors at the Fair, we will be regaled with, "Oh, look, the crackas tryin' to keep us down selling fried dough in 100 degree heat. HEY, 'MASSA', THE SLAVE DAYS IS OVER!!!!"

     I want to give BLM everything it wants. I want for everyone in the BLM movement to be given a job by the company that runs State and County Fairs, peddling whatsoever they would like to peddle. This would expose the stupid mother****ing imbeciles to the world of work, and would by definition pick them up and move them someplace new every month or so. That would be swell.

The two vendors that I know personally are both black. One lets me have his vegetable oil from his soul food catering business (how cool is the smell of that out the back of a pickup? The other one I used to work with and he had a BBQ side business that he'd work on the weekends.  Fine bunch of hardworking people, I hope the primitives don't declare them uncle toms

Minnesota State Fair has record low attendance, hurting women, children and minorities most.

Personally I hope that blm has a rally everyday at the fair. The more often they throw their poo at decent and civilized people the sooner it ends.

One of my neighbors is a vendor that travels the country working fairs and whatnot.  It's tough work.

I am a public defender in a large southern metropolitan area. Fewer than ten percent of the people in the area I serve are black but over 90 percent of my clients are black. The remaining ten percent are mainly Hispanics but there are a few whites.

I have no explanation for why this is, but crime has racial patterns. Hispanics usually commit two kinds of crime: sexual assault on children and driving under the influence. Blacks commit many violent crimes but very few sex crimes. The handful of whites I see commit all kinds of crimes. In my many years as a public defender I have represented only three Asians, and one was half black.

As a young lawyer, I believed the official story that blacks are law abiding, intelligent, family-oriented people, but are so poor they must turn to crime to survive. Actual black behavior was a shock to me.
