Update on TTW and Yoshi
I heard back from TTW today. She is well and happy with her room and her housemate/landlord. As with all temping situations, she is in and out of work. When I first heard from her she was at the library filling out her time card for work. Right now, her latest contract is over and she's looking again.

She used the money that was recently donated to move Yoshi to a boarding situation near where she lives so she can visit him daily. She has some reason to hope that once she's more settled into her new living situation she will be able to keep Yoshi in her room at night and just doggy daycare by day.

I reminded her that "the best revenge is being successful somewhere else."

I'm wishing her well and hoping she finds decent, stable employment sooner rather than later, so she can begin to recover her independence.

She is living in a glory hole you dolts.

Color me skeptical. There will continue to be requests. Honestly have never seen anything like this at DU, ever.

But if she's actually doing OK-ish that's a pretty good start. Yeah, the Rashomon narrative is totally perplexing, but it's not like ms (or moose) are sockpuppets, I mean you can't fake the kind of ... whatever you call it that torch had in spades. It'd be like an iverglas sockpuppet, there's no way they could go Guy Incognito without gnashing their teeth into crumbs.

7. I am updating by my choice for those who were concerned about Yoshi

There was a lot of speculation when she took Yoshi back from the shelter about what would become of them.

When Yoshi was sick at the daycare 2 hours from where she lived, I donated a small amount. She emailed me thanking me and I emailed her back asking permission to update for those who were concerned about what became of Yoshi. That is all.

As to her feelings about Msanthrope, I wrote to her, and am writing here today, that I simply will not get into any she said/she said.

I have no idea where Moosepoop or anybody else is. If you have so much trouble with this update, and can't resist opening the threads, you can put TTW, Yoshi, and TorchTheWitch in the trash and the threads will be hidden.

What is your cut?

So, today Yoshi is coming home with me and staying here until he's no longer sick and can go to just a doggie daycare while I work. I have another temp job lined up, but I don't think it starts for a week or at least midweek, so I'll have days to spend with him caring for him and just having him be in a restful quiet place with his mommy as it should be. I had to buy a new bag of his chow after the one I had just bought was stolen as well as his toys and leash. I still have his more favorite toys except for his bacon flavored Nyla bone, I bought him a brand new squeaky ball that he loves, and I have his bed and his big Christmas bear and his food and water dishes which is just about all I was able to get out of my old house. All of my stuff is illegally still being held hostage in my old place, but that's a whole other story.

I have to take Yoshi to the vet, and I have no idea what it will cost. With all the money I had to pay for his boarding all this time, there's only very little left of the donation money, and I have to pay my new landlord every week. I'm paid up through the 20th, but after that even if I start work right away it will be two damn weeks before I get a paycheck again, and this next job is REALLY cheap but at least it's office work, so I won't be doing mindless boring packaging stuff again. Once Yoshi is symptom free and I start work again he'll have to go to a doggie daycare five days a week which is going to be most of my paycheck. I'm hoping in time Yoshi will relax around here and feel comfortable and he'll suck up to the home owner and make him love him so he wants him to stay full time. That can't happen until the crazy tenant leaves though. She was supposed to be out yesterday, but as I write this she's still here, and she's not done moving stuff out. This weekend sometime the new tenant getting her room is supposed to be moving in.

The fly in the ointment here is that the tenant who actually got me into this place is a certified nutter. I wasn't here a week yet when for no reason at all she lost her mind and attacked me, broke my nose (though not that badly since I'm still breathing pretty well out of both sides) and slammed my bad hip into the floor. I didn't know it, but everyone here knows she's nuts and either hides from her entirely or goes about on eggshells when she's home. She was already kicked out for having tried to attack the home owner's daughter who also lives here but given a couple of weeks to move her stuff and herself somewhere. She has a looooooong rap sheet with everything on it except murder, and no one is willing to do much of anything to hurry her out the door for fear of what she might do. Though she attacked me I can't help but feel sort of sorry for her since there is very obviously something terribly wrong in her brain that she can't help. Having to spend a week in the house with just her while my hip injury got better I witnessed a hell of a lot more than I cared to about just how "out there" she is.

She has psychotic breaks that are becoming more and more frequent where she truly believes that this is her house and has threatened me and others here that she's going to throw them out or have the police come and do it. The rest is just REALLY strange things, but that's all for another post sometime when I get the chance.

As for Yoshi, in a few hours I'll be on my way to go get him and the time is crawling. I need to call the vet first though and see if he can get in there today or I'll have to wait until Monday. I'm praying it won't cost much, but I do know that a regular visit is $89 plus whatever labs or meds, etc. are needed and already that's going to hurt.
