Unfortunately, given that the Bernie primitives have terrorized the regular primitives into silence, Judy's provided just about the only comedic relief from Skins's island for a few weeks now.
The other day, she alleged herself to be a "former editor," trying to give herself the same exalted status as Bill, the Bostonian Drunkard.
And there's her ongoing tales about living on the banks of the Columbia River just east of Portland, Oregon--we all know what inspired that idea. Judy lives on the banks of the Columbia River about as much as franksolich lives next door to the Pope.
She forgets it's easy to see though. Here in Nebraska, with more miles of river and other waterways than any of the other 49 states (a real fact), and so few people, living on the side of a river, as franksolich does, is hardly unusual. It's very common, and poor people in Nebraska are just as likely to live in such places as affluent people.
In Oregon, however, and
especially just outside of Portland, and
especially given real-estate prices of that area (because of a much larger population), Judy grasswire lives on the banks of the Columbia River like franksolich votes Democrat. She couldn't afford to.
