3. Won't happen.
Sanders supporters and the like will never be happy within the Party. The Democratic Party is exactly as it should be and will remain. Those who view it as "too corporate" need to go form their own party.
A year from now you'll have a better understanding.
And some primitive got back in Manny's face.
Let me address this in liberal-speak.
There is something to be said for the Sanders/Warren type libs to go form their own party. They never will be pleased in the Dem party because of their belief that Dems have become "corporate sell-outs" with Hillary being the corporate whore candidate. But forming a new party would require work and effort, and that's just nor something they possess. Besides, they think the party belongs to them and the 3rd way/DLC has come in and taken over. Right now, money says the Bernie-ites will remain disappointed as the moneyed interest continues to steamroll them.
A year from now, when Hillary has won the nomination, the Bernie-ites will have a choice between the lesser-of-2-evil corporate candidate or not voting since I doubt Sanders will run as an independent. I can see Hillary throwing the Bernie-ites a few bones and making them think she's with them (wink wink), and they may be dumb enough to fall for it. Then you'll get to hear them proclaim how Bernie pulled Hillary to the left.
But how do you go from considering Hillary to be a corporate whore to voting for her??
I'm sure they'll find some convoluted way to rationalize it. If you want to find a spineless creature looking for any reason to justify completely throwing out its whole belief system, it would be tough to find a better example than the Bernie-ites.
