Can any of you ladies handle THIS?

You'd think a DUmmy with over 40K posts would have learned not to leave a fastball over the plate like that...

...and sure enough, here comes Albert Buttjols to ruin the fun:

I thought I was up to speed with all the banned words, phrases, and thoughts, but I didn't know democrats couldn't use the word "ladies".

It must take a lot of study to be a democrat.

Hi5, that one made me laugh pretty hard. It's amazing how true it is too.

Beef, pork, or tuna?

That would depend on how the meat self-identifies. Consider turkey-ham for example.

I'm surprised none the DUches are upset about the Chick-Fil-A billboard in the background. I guess that 'outrage du jour' has gone out of season.

If you read the DUmmy threads on CFA carefully, you get the distinct impression that although they don't care for the guy's position, his food tastes too good to boycott.

That's a distinct possibility - flavor trumping "principle". Also, people who are INTO politics trend not to be tolerant of a loser, and the foredoomed effort to boycott CfA was a big-time LOSER! At the time CfA was just starting a significant expansion; the closest CfA to San Jose, at the time, was 1.5-2 hours' drive away (Fairfield, for the terminally curious). Now there are 4 in Silicon Valley. Usually losers in such matters HATE the winners, but maybe, as you suggest, CfA's flavor has taken the edge off many DU-folks' hatred.

DUmmies are the biggest bullshitters when it comes to food. Back when they used to have meetups and post pics, you'd always see tables in the background loaded with donuts and fried chicken and stuff they SWEAR they never eat. There used to be long threads about how they grow their own food, only shop at WHole Foods, blah blah blah, but when you actually get a look at them, they're all fat and usually have cigarettes in their hands. The 2012/13 CfA war wasn't a war at all: it was them declaring a boycott or finessing their reasons why they wouldn't boycott.

Cliff's Notes version: those nowhere near CfA boycotted it; those close to CfA, merely (as Rev Jesse says) frowned upon the homophobia.

The nearest CfA to me is a three-digit number of miles away. :(
