Walt Palmer (poacher) is proof that wealth does not trickle down and that the rich are undertaxed.
If he has the means to clip the earth's most endangered species, he can pay higher taxes without suffering much.
If there's one thing to come out of all of this, hopefully it will shine a spotlight on that. Though, I doubt the topic will be brought up outside of here.
Thank you for listening.
I THINK the argument goes something like this:1. Someone is rich.
2. Liberals don't like that.
3. That someone does something with his money that liberals don't like.
4. Liberals claim that either he shouldn't have had the money in the first place, because it would be in government coffers, or that if he is going to engage in unapproved behavior, he should pay the government more money.
5. All is well in the world.
Now, of course, the above argument is absolutely ridiculous, but it pulls the covers back on the liberal philosophy that every problem in the universe stems from the fact that some people have money that should be in someone else's pockets. You got money to kill a lion? Then you got money to give to me. That's the argument, in its ridiculous entirety.
Meanwhile, how many homes does single man Al Gore own? Nevermind.
