If you eat meat and/or eggs then you are part of a system that engages in the torture and slaughter of millions upon millions of animals every day. These animals might not be as "noble" as a lion, and you might not be pulling the trigger yourself, but make no mistake you are an accessory to animal cruelty and murder.

Tens of billions of animals are slaughtered in the US alone every year.

Perhaps the revulsion people are feeling towards this dentist will cause more folks to re-examine their food choices, or at the very least, be more informed about what goes on in factory farms across America.

Eating animals = mass, mechanized murder.

If you have any compassion for Cecil, you ought to consider extending that compassion to the thousands of cows, turkeys, chickens, and pigs that were murdered in the time it took for you to read this message.

Morally superior (in their minds) and hypersensitive vegans can be very entertaining!

On a homeschooling discussion site that was part of a larger vegan site one was not allowed to mention meat, dairy products, non-food animal products (e.g. leather), restaurants that served meat or dairy, or guns. Unless one was a vegan that made talking of normal life somewhat limiting. Not to mention not being able to post about field trips to restaurants, grocery stores, cheese-production plants, and livestock and dairy farms. There were occasions there when The Smug got rather thick, IYKWIM.

I find it ironic that the DUmmy considers it slaughter to eat a chicken fetus in the form of an egg  but has no problem slaughtering human fetus.

Its an attempt to get family members to come to their house for Thanksgiving so they don't have to see the 'mass exploitation, animal cruelty,  and commercialism' of normal people's Thanksgivings

Being properly caffeinated (and having just eaten a cheddar cheese omelet), given how many plants are pollinated by bees and other insects, isn't eating those plants' seeds, leaves, stalks, and roots similar bee and insect exploitation?

That's because vegans are wussy sell-outs who refuse to embrace the only truly humane food philosophy of fruitarianism (the idea being that by eating fruit one does the tree a 'favour' by dispersing the seeds).
