Oh, I dunno (directed to the LynneSin primitive); I'm one of these few people for whom circumstances "gift" me with being a guest for breakfast, lunch, and supper in my own home. For which I'm immensely grateful, because I loathe and detest cooking.
And being where I am, much of the chow is local in origin.
But me, before I came out here and was forced to buy and cook my own food, those few times I dined on meat (I of course do, but not as much as what most other people do), it was just always easier, quicker, cleaner, and cheaper to buy it in one of those foam trays shrink-wrapped in plastic at the grocery store.
