Not satisfied to leave her impoverished, the Big Guy signs his meager estate up for years of car payments:

We are trading in my Obama (clunker bonus) Cobalt, there go all my political bumper stickers :-(

Back in August 09 the Clunker program announced it was running out of $ after the weekend because it was so successful. So I traded in a very beat up 91 Caprice that was a spare for emergencies. We got a tax break & $3,500 under the program.

I have the 80% of the rear bumper covered. I'll try to grab a photo before it goes in.

This is on top of the imaginary European tour he's talking about.

I smell a gofundme page in the future. And why isn't the big guy, who is shuffling off this mortal coil... sometime, donating the car to a fellow dummie? They could use a functioning car far more than he can.

WTH is Obamaha Steve doing with a Cobalt?  That's a SMALL car.  Similar in size to a Cavalier, which I have trouble getting in and out of, and I'm not 300+ pounds and dying.

I bet it looks like a breech birth every time he exits it!   :rotf:

The Big Guy has a new Toyota.

He bragged about abusing the salesman a couple of years ago

He probably makes Marta drive the shitty little Cobalt with the embarrassing bumper stickers.

You gotta be kidding me.

Now, I don't pay much attention to car models.  Really, I don't.  To me, a car's a car's a car's a car's and so on.  It's just something one rides to get from one place to another.

And so I had to nadin "Cobalt," to find out what kind of car it is.

It's a subcompact.

How the Hell did the big guy ever fit into a subcompact?

I can find that thread here:

but the du thread is gone.  Here he talks about the Cobalt:

I bet his lardass broke it.

I appreciate the stereotypical liberal with most of his car's ass covered in bumper stickers. The poor car...

2. The average MPG difference is now 10 MPG between the clunker
and the new car purchased. Great story. You got a really safe reliable new car and reduced your carbon footprint to boot.

Have a great day with Chevrolet.........

what morbidly obese people do to cars:
cooked brakes
broke down struts on the left side
tires worn to the belts on the left side
crushed down seat
fried transmission (don't care if it's flat out there, transmissions just can't drag 500 pounds like that)
possibly about to fold in two, the big guy really needs a full frame to support his girth, there's most likely a crease starting across the roof

20. absolute bullshit. the cave is unspeakably vile.

I don't know how any of you can live with yourselves.

I knew a morbidly obese fat guy that preferred driving small econoboxes.  This was about 20 years ago, so cruisy American luxobarges were still roaming the Earth in large numbers.  He would be so much more comfortable in a nice, big car and wouldn't look like a pimento stuffed into an olive.

I noticed OS was driving a Chevrolet Caprice until Uncle Sam waved some money in front of him.  Predictable, I suppose.

I have the 80% of the rear bumper covered. I'll try to grab a photo before it goes in.

Not to worry, Big Steve, as I am sure that the Friends of Steve Dawson still have a photograph of the back of your car (the photo you tried to scrub from the internet) tucked away somewhere.  Just let them know if you can't find it.

Can someone explain this to me?  He's worried about the carbon footprint of the tuna can Big Steve drives around, and yet I have never seen even one of these primitives mention the carbon footprint that their morbid obesity imposes on the planet erf.
