I have voted in every election since I was eighteen years old. I never ever thought of sitting one out until right after the Nov. Con. We gave the R's power under the disguise of conservatism and were screwed big time. I think continually voting for the less of two evils JUST TO KEEP THE LIBS OUT OF POWER hasn't worked and keeps the RINO'S as strong as ever. Let the R's get hammered to death and either they change to be more conservative or let them rot.
Saying sitting it out or voting third party so Hillary don't get elected isn't worth it anymore. Look what we have now Boehner and McConnell who took up right where Pelosi and Reed left off, Not a lick of difference!

I too have felt that way. I was one that refused to vote for McCain against Obama thinking that Hillary would win then, serve one term, fail and a decent conservative would emerge and win the next election.  I never ever thought that Obama would be elected based on the research that I did on him nor did I ever in a million years think that he would win another term.

Washington is broken that is a given. I think Trump would be a disaster and Hillary would finally topple this country.  Not much of a choice agreed. Odds of someone like Cruz (and I am a huge Cruz fan) making it are slim.  The only way to fix Washington is from the bottom up; electing conservative mayors, state senators and state representatives, governors, etc.  Keep in mind that historically there is lower DEM turnout in those elections.  However with the massive amount of corruption from within our government that is taking place and the failing economies around the globe along with terrorism having a strong foothold and growing, I'm not so sure that will we even see another election.
I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed, a democracy in a republic, a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes. I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies.

I agree McCain was a wake up call that RINO'S cannot win. I had a harder time voting for him the Romney who by the way I didn't agree with totally but til this day I think our economy would be much better if he had been elected. I seen him locally and i had never seen such a charged up crowd, but then there was the debate meltdown where Cowly made him look like a 1st grader, he could of had a slam dunk but didn't want to show up a women and slam an african american. Lights out after that.
As far as not voting or third party we just had the biggest con pulled on usin the history of the country in November and I think that will resignate in the presidential election. Don't know if it will be good or bad though.

Well, I think it is rather apparent right now that people are absolutely fed up.  Keep in mind, that even with the number of candidates running, Trump is still polling at around 25%!  That is significant.  I will be surprised if Bush polls any higher than he already is.  I voted for Romney and felt he would have been an asset to the country at the time.

With the DEMS in the trouble that they are in right now, I think the GOP will take the oval office; the shake up however is going to be in losing the Senate and perhaps even the House.

Trump did say (paraphrasing) you can't just go around issuing executive orders all over the place. You have to get everyone together and discuss/negotiate. Executive orders will either be repealed or stopped by the courts. He was very passionate when he said it. I'm a Cruz supporter but I was impressed by Trump's tone.

I think if Bush, Christie or even Kasich gets nominated so many R's will sit out or vote third part any democrat may win. Remember in November we voted for the least of two evils and got Boehner and McConnell and the laziest do nothing congress and senate ever!.

I know that the primaries are quite a few months out, but as of right now, I just don't see Bush, Kasich or Christie getting the nod.  I think it's going to come down to Trump, Cruz, Walker, Fiorina and Carson.  Paul and Perry are in trouble and perhaps Huckabee will stay in, but he's run before and people are out and out rejecting anyone that has run for president before.

I think it's Walker, Cruz maybe Rubio and Fiorino because she is a women. maybe VP candidate? I don't think even Huckabee or Paul thought he could win and Perry well who knows what he's thinking.

I really don't think any RINO will get the nomination. Unless someone gets on their high horse and goes third party, I don't think we can lose. I haven't seen the mood of the country like this since Carter was president but people feel much worse now. People are sick of establishment congress forgetting who they represent and making promises they have no intention of keeping. The establishment thinks they have the money and connections to protect the status quo but that won't work now anymore than it did when Reagan was elected.

That's how I felt when I seen Romney in Asheville, the place was crazy and folks I thought had it with OBlamer but then Romney collapsed to Cowly and in one instant game over.
