First photo of my ride in a B-17 this morning

For those that missed yesterday's post: http://www.democraticunderground.com/10026985422

I'll have a write up and many photos in a couple hours.

Below is the "Nine O Nine" plane I rode in taking off with the Omaha skyline in the background. This was the first flight of the day. I rode in the second flight.

OS

Will he be able to get it written and uploaded before he dies?

How long will it be before a fellow lib accuses the Big Guy(who is dying) of warmongering by being photographed flying in a B-17 instrument of war ?
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

As I have looked into doing what Big Steve has done himself, I'll be interested to see which seat he decided to pay for.  The better seats cost much more.

Okay, there's that aspect to it also.
How long will it be before one of the Big Guy's(who is dying) fellow libs calls him out on being a crypto fascist industrialist capitalist 1%er ?

That's a good question.  We'll have to wait and see.  I can tell you one thing right away though, and that is Big Steve didn't cash in a ticket for the ball turret seat.

Anyone with a leg under them can scramble into the ball turret.

Well, as long as only one leg is required, LVL and TheMasterNemesis still make the cut.

The B-17 flight is $450 for thirty minutes.

The Big Guy (who is dying) never saved a dime during his "working" days.

Now he's adding to the debt that will be his legacy.

Maybe he's expecting the DUmp to support the widow with fundraisers.

Or maybe stevenumbers will move to Bellevue.

I don't think the libs will have a problem with it. After all it was used to kill Asians and white people.

Wow! That's for sure! What a wasted batch of bandwidth.

I surprised no one at the DUmp accuses him of pixel abuse.

He just has a phone, not a Good Rig, but still, there's no excuse.

The B-17 was here a few years ago. They wanted $300 per person for a ride. I didn't take it.

It's worth it and it cost a lot to fly it but I just didn't want to spend the money.

Yeah, I think it'd be appropriate for the big guy, when giving his description of his adventure, to identify, and express thanks to, whoever paid for his ticket, because he didn't.  It's just good manners.

I should send Big Steve and invoice for my pain and suffering of flipping through all those "photographs".  I kept sorting through them, thinking I might see one out of the bunch that would be aesthetically pleasing.  Nope.

You really have to be endowed with some kind of special talent to take that many photographs and not even snap one good one, not even by accident.

The Big Guy (who is dying)'s B-17 boondoggle reminds me of a classic DUmp fundraiser a few years ago.

It was DUmmy The Straight Story's urgent, tearful appeal for cash to help with his ex-wife's care during some kind of unidentified terminal affliction.

Time was of the essence, he needed DUmmybucks and lots of them.

It wasn't for pain medication, or nursing care, or hospice.

It was for skydiving. The two of them were going on a skydiving trip.

His appeal met with less DUmp enthusiasm than Pam Dawson's gut rot-a-thon a few weeks ago.

I would have no problem giving to a DUmp skydiving beg-a-thon, with the caveat that the jump be made without parachutes.

Go ahead and give them parachutes BH.  Just make sure they are packed by the pavement apes they support.   :fuelfire:

From a flying aircraft at an altitude of at least 2,000 feet.
It takes 1,000 feet of free fall to get to terminal velocity.
Another caveat, no harnesses of any kind where another skydiver could catch them in mid-flight and securely connect to them and then parachute them to safety.
Knowing the lib as I do, once it became evident they were up a one way street without a paddle, they(in their constant state of panic) would try to take as many with them as they could in order to try to save themselves.

I'm Surprised that a seventy year old aircraft still had it in itself to haul such a big load of shit over Omaha.

I hope they wiped it down after the ride. Sweat is corrosive.

Hey neckbeard, did it look like this?
The DUmbass now thinks he can properly wear the CIB.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Well, I read the big guy's after-action report and will admit that when he wants to, the big guy can write reasonably good; it's something he needs to do more often, rather than lazily copying-and-pasting stuff.

I thought the big guy was dying.  Is he going to crap out on his promise?

We all knew he was lying about terminal brain rot.

And he's so stove up physically the taxpayers had to put him on a lifetime gravy train, but he could wiggle and scramble into the cramped interior of a WWII bomber.

A sedentary bum in his fifties, three hundred pounds overweight, isn't long for this world, but he'll have a blowout that has nothing to do with his imaginary brain rot or his fraudulent disability.

And the slug can't write. Soon-to-be impoverished Marta wrote that post.
