Unblack, Unqueer, Unpoor Rolex Dealer Hates Handshakes
« on: July 15, 2015, 11:05:13 PM »
DUmmies get outraged at the drop of a hat, often over some really surprising little things.

A handshake is a normal part of life for a decent and civilized person - a greeting, a tradition, a sign of respect, a rite of agreement.

But to a DUmp democrat a handshake is just another source of controversy and boiling hate.

At least it persuaded Rolex dealer randy to take a break from his incessant race baiting.

For GOD's sake, stop shaking hands.

Quote
The reason we started shaking hands was to make sure the other person didnt have a weapon in his or her hand.

No weapons to worry about, for the most part (I will resist my usual anti gun comment here)

Shaking hands spreads disease, colds, flu, etc.

Stop it

He died, from multiple illnesses. True story

19. Handwashing solves a lot of disease problems.

If you're hardly ever washing your hands, then maybe you shouldn't shake hands. But most of us have access to soap and running water and wash our hands many times a day.

I think if shaking hands was such a spreader of disease, then it would be very obvious that groups that don't normally shake hands are unusually healthy. Little kids rarely shake hands, and they're quite disease-ridden, as any parent can tell you.

That's just how I roll

(I'm 40 and should not speak like this, ever)

18. As a woman, I've had men refuse to shake my hand

because they think I'm "unclean".

It's insulting when someone refuses to shake hands, especially as a female.
It's not because you're a woman. It's because you're a DUmmy.

27. You just got insulted when SheilaT talked about washing your hands

the implication that one is "unclean" is insulting. Your OP makes clear you think people are big dirty germ bombs. You want to take religious bat shit insanity about touching others and expand it cause we're all "unclean".

Just wash your hands and deal with the fact that shaking hands is an American cultural norm.

47. The only time my hands shake is when I've had too much alcohol the night before.

But that rarely happens anymore now that I'm no longer a wild young party girl.

So, yes, I have pretty much stopped shaking hands.

You're welcome.

63. Sometimes you're forced to shake hands,

like when it's a business setting. What I'd do is wash my hands ASAP afterwards, then use a paper towel to turn off the sink and open the restroom door with.

Randy is just afraid someone will shake his hand and steal one of his watches off his wrist at the same time.

I'd be happy seeing both of his forearms so as to be sure r1 wasn't going to try to sell me a Rolex or a Romex!

Bacteria and viruses pervade our environment. Total avoidance isn't possible, and to some degree, casual occasional contact is healthy in the long term - to build up resistance while we are reasonably healthy against an exposure when our immune systems are compromised or overwhelmed.

I can understand pastors and pols - very different professions, but lots of hand-shaking going on - taking precautions, but how much discourtesy is getting one less cold worth?

I always assume that people who are excessively worried about what people have on their hands are ashamed of what they have on their hands. In Randy's case, it's probably the colon-scrapings of some "AfAm" he counts himself lucky to have happened along in his lily-white burg.
