I remember being 12 and seeing two women in a passionate kiss. I looked at my mom with my mouth hanging open. My mom (who had served in the Woman Marines, 1942-1945) said, "close your mouth, you look like a fish. It's love. They love each other. It's simple."
Thanks for a good post and a good memory. Even for an old cynic like me.. love finally wins! It's simple.

Here's a real story about a parent's reaction to gay luv.
My mother served in the Air Force from 1955 to some years later, when I, her little bundle of joy, arrived.

During basic, she was appointed squad leader or some such in the womens' barracks and encountered two women, ah, shall we say, embracing the joys of female loving. She broke them up. as hands off as possible, by screaming. I don't think my poor mother ever quite recuperated from the experience, at 18, of witnessing her first "act of love".
Yeah, keep it in your private bedroom people, whatever else you do. Let's have a tiny bit of decency.
