Obama’s 757 is Back in Service
« on: July 21, 2008, 04:38:48 PM »
Well, this certainly is newsworthy - Barack Hussein Obama refurbished his personal jet, replacing the American flag with his commie-like logo, the thing that looks like a flat Pepsi can:

Quote
Sally, a nickname bestowed upon Barack Obama’s chartered 757 by some in the traveling press, has returned to service after undergoing a month-long makeover for the general election. Her inaugural flight - sans candidate - will be to Amman, Jordan, with a refuel stop in Ireland. There are 69 passengers on board, including 38 members of the press, Secret Service agents, and Obama staffers, including several of Obama’s top foreign policy advisors.

The North American jet that flew Obama and his traveling crew around for much of the primary season was refurbished with new seats and power for each passenger a must on the campaign trail. And the plane that once had an American flag on its tail now sports the Obama “O.” “Change We Can Believe In” and the candidate’s website are splayed across both sides of the fuselage, making this 757 anything but inconspicuous.

:fuelfire: I'm sorry, but the adjective "ghetto" comes to mind.

wouldn't it have made sense to wait until he named a running mate before he spent a sh*t load of money painting his plane?

HOLD the ****in' bus!  Wasn't the BarackStar!'s plane (you know, the one that made an emergency landing because of an emergency slide that deployed in flight) an MD-80?

How the **** is it that all of a sudden he's got a 757?

Not if his wife is going to run as VP.

That plane's been pimped.  I wonder if it has chrome mud flaps with the outline of a nekkid lady on them.   :lmao:

Thats a 757.

You might want to do the same.

Since when did a B757 become 4 engine aircraft ?

In my four years in the AF and 21 years working for an airline I might have missed
it.  Please enlighten me.  :whatever:

Dude.  That picture that WE posted is a 757.  It has 2 engines.  A 747 has 4 engines.  A 747 has that huge hump at the front of the aircraft.  The picture WE posted does not.  A 747's cockpit sits above the passenger deck.  The cockpit of the picture that WE posted is on the passenger deck.

How is that a 747?

THIS is the 747 that WE posted.

47= 4 engines (and a hump over the port front pax door)

57= TWO engines. Y'all are both  referring to the right aircraft, just the wrong pics.

As I said, the Red X of doom caused the confusion.  Once I realized we where talking about differant pictures, it all got cleared up.

what a cheezy paint job.
My fellow Americans, there is nothing audacious about hope. Hope is what makes people buy lottery tickets instead of paying the bills. Hope is for the old gals feeding the slots in Atlantic City. It destroys the inner-city kid who quits school because he hopes he'll be a world-famous recording artist.

What's the difference between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama?

One is a well turned-out, good-looking, and let's be honest, pretty sexy piece of eye-candy.

The other kills her own food.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
