Sanders Draws Nearly 10,000 In Wisconsin
« on: July 02, 2015, 07:44:00 AM »
Just when I thought things couldn't get much worse!! SCOTUS Gay marriage and forced health care rulings, Ten Commandments  statue coming down, Confederate and American flag under attack and now a proclaimed "socialist" has this kind of following in America. Growing up, people used to cringe at the very words; "socialist" and "communist". Keep in mind that this is the same state that Walker saw victory.  IF we are not successful in getting a true conservative in the White House we will see this country fall.

Bernie Sanders draws nearly 10,000 supporters in Wisconsin

Madison, Wisconsin (CNN)Bernie Sanders has been running for president for two months, but Wednesday night in Madison, Wisconsin, his long-shot campaign got real.

When Sanders walked on stage at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, he was greeted by a raucous, howling crowd of 9,600 people, according to Sanders' campaign aides and arena staff.

A clearly energized Sanders, who late last year was speaking to crowds of 50 people in Iowa classrooms, appeared taken aback by the reception he received.

"Whoa," he said. "In case you haven't noticed, there are a lot of people here."

Sanders' campaign has been organizing the event for weeks, but just recently started telling reporters that 9,000 people signed up to attend. ...

..."The message is resonating, not just in Wisconsin, but all over America," Sanders told CNN. "The people are sick and tired of establishment politics, establishment economics. They want real change."...

I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed, a democracy in a republic, a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes. I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies.

No, I mean go, Sanders.
And take Hitlery down with you.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Be careful what you wish for.  Bernie the Commie and Wigwam Warren are the "progressives" dream team come true.  Sure Bernie may knock Hillary out of the park; but he (and Warren) represents the "new face" of the DEM party and is not considered part of the DEM establishment.   IMHO Hillary will self destruct all on her own.

I know it's early in the political jockeying game, but either Bernie or Warren (and I think she'll get the VP spot) would be this country's worst nightmare.  Both will be would than Barry. I think the GOP should win it by a landslide against Bernie...but I never thought the majority would vote for Barry the first time around and was totally caught off guard when they voted him in the second time.

Barky obinga was supposed to be the crown prince of liberalism...
"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

John C Calhoun, "Disquisition on Government", 1840
