Conservatism has lost its family jewels...

In a week that saw the Supreme Court approval of Obamacare and same-sex marriage, Republicans were hyperventilating over the sudden rush of events. They almost lost their breath when people started taking down the Confederate battle flag. What did they have left, once the Supreme Court and the people of this country slapped their hands and took away their political toys?

Where do they go from here? Their "family values" argument doesn't have the value that it once had. With the next election quickly approaching, do they double
down on Benghazi and Hillary emails? Or do they run against an "activist" Supreme Court that has attacked their "religious freedom"? Stay tuned.

Once a DUmmie always a DUmmie.

Given the looming economic collapse that is likely to be underway I am not terribly worried about election chances over a year away from now.

Matter of fact, if I were a lefty, I'd be wondering what would stop a massive conservative turnout in November 2016.  The Right will be flocking to whoever the Republican nominee is, because the country is ready for a shift in direction.  The Democrat Party knows it; why else the rush to get all those illegals legalized?  The massive tax increases for anyone with a so-called "Cadillac health plan" are going to hit soon.  All Hell will break loose for the Democrat Party then.

Then, there's the problem with Greece going bankrupt.  Unless you're a tourist, ATM withdrawals are limited to 60 Euros.  Banks are closed across the country for the next six days..  When they reopen, there's no guarantee that bank accounts won't be cleaned out by the government.  The EU is dearly trying to keep this from spreading to other member countries.

Then, there's this problem for Hillary that's named 'Bernie Sanders.'  While I think that his chances of winning are slim at best, stranger things have happened.  My guess is that he wounds Hillary enough to make her organization spend money in states that they shouldn't have to, but no amount of money will be able to prevent Scott Walker or Marco Rubio from becoming the 46th President of the United States of America.

Actually, I believe Ted Cruz when he said that Republicans in DC were secretly happy about both rulings.

As for the Confederate flag, why do the Dummies keep pretending that the Republicans are responsible for it?  Re-writing history... as usual.

Yeah, that.

It's all so volatile anything can happen, and probably will.
