Follow the money to a yea vote
« on: June 23, 2015, 11:10:02 PM »
...on Obamatrade.  This information is from last month & shows how much politicians were paid for their yea vote on Fast-track.

"Out of the total $1,148,971 given, an average of $17,676.48 was donated to each of the 65 “yea” votes."

"The average Republican member received $19,673.28 from corporate TPP supporters."

"The average Democrat received $9,689.23 from those same donors."

"The amounts given rise dramatically when looking at how much each senator running for re-election received."

My home state; I had such high hopes for Scott:  "Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, who will be running for his first full six-year term in 2016, received $67,500 from pro-TPP corporations."

I've always said democrats are cheap, dime a dozen.

Oh come on Tim, don't be a disappointment to us.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin
