Here are my uncollected thoughts regarding this latest of Pam's efforts to fleece the DUmmies:
1. Here is the picture that she posted on her page, on which she seeks $20,000 of free money:
Here are just a few plausible responses an actual adult might have to that picture, taken in concert with the amount she would like:
"It looks like she needs more help for her mental retardation than for her Crohn's."
"If she can't bother herself to take a proper picture for an effort to raise $20,000, I can't be bothered to contribute."
"Crohn's AND Down Syndrome. Poor woman."
"One would think with her purses, cars, fancy vacations, and so forth, she could afford a picture with resolution better than .9mb."
"What's Nadin doing on Pam's site?"
"She's HIGH. Come back and ask for money when you're not HIGH."
2. For someone who claims to be an educator, she lacks basic writing skills, and has exactly zero literary flair. For someone seeking $100 for a bus ticket, that might be OK. But she's trading on her status as a poor noble educator to
raise the desired funds. From certain passages, one could reasonable surmise that she is as mentally retarded as she looks:
"All I am is a wife, mother, sister, aunt, (was a daughter but both my parents have passes)"
No ending clause. No punctuation. And I presume that she means that her parents are deceased, unless her parents have requested
and received permission to deny her as a daughter (which, who could blame them?).
3. She attributes to politics what is explicable by simple Human Resources policy. To wit:
Unfortunately, due to the political climate my absences are looked down on because after the first 5 months, I am usually in deduct. What that means is that my sick leave is gone and my paycheck is deducted from whenever I have to have treatment.
Essentially, Pam would like to be paid for being ill, as opposed to merely being insured for being ill.
4. She imagines that once out of debt, she will remain out of debt. Observe:
I am trying to raise 20,000 dollars so that I can pay all my debt except for my house payment and student loans. The goal is to get all outside bills eradicated so that if I miss days I don't have to worry about how my debts will be paid.
Given Pam's penchant for rubbing the DUmmies' noses in her frequent luxuries, only a fool would believe that she will stay debt-free. Caveat emptor. In any event, what guarantee does one have that there is actually $20,000 in debt outstanding, and not, say, $12,000? I see no financial statement, just the word of a semi-illiterate woman who boasts about her possessions in order to soothe her feelings about her unfortunate looks.
In light of this stupid woman's brazen panhandling for cash she doesn't need, I am ready to partially retract the ridicule I had for Lyric's gofundme for a trailer. For what Pam is begging for, Lyric could have bought five trailers. And I don't see Lyric bragging about a pink purse.
