Jeb Hits New Lows
« on: June 20, 2015, 03:19:06 PM »
If the MSM is already reporting that he's clueless not fit for prime time is to me a good sign.  Move over Jeb, get ready for Cruz, or Walker or Perry...perhaps even Rand.  BTW, his use of the term "holy schnikes" is just plain laughable.  What a buffoon.   :rotf:

Jeb Bush Has Hit a New Low

In case you missed it, the race-hatred massacre in Charleston has left Jeb Bush clueless. He's not sure if race is actually a factor in this horrific episode of domestic terrorism.

Every news outlet in the country -- well, maybe not Fox? -- reported that a survivor recounted that the killer "had said that African-Americans have 'raped our women, and you are taking over the country."

Could it be any clearer that this is a hate crime directed at African-Americans in a historically important Black church? But when asked point blank if the crime was motivated by race, Jeb said, "I don't know." Despite the mountain of evidence that's already there, he doesn't know.

There's a hell of a lot Bush doesn't know. Back in February at a Chicago Council on Global Affairs luncheon he was asked about NATO's stance in the Baltic region. He said, "I don't know what the effect has been, because, you know, it's really kind of hard to be out on the road, and I'm just a gladiator these days, so I don't follow every little detail."..

He admitted he was no foreign policy expert, in a bizarre way: "Look, the more I get into this stuff, there are some things [where] you just go, you know, 'Holy schnikes.' "

He's clearly not ready for prime time and is a lousy decision maker, too. Why did he show off his ignorance of foreign affairs at that foreign affairs luncheon? Unless he thought his Bush name absolved him of having to do research or prepare with consultants. Which means he's got as scary a sense of entitlement as his brother did...

I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed, a democracy in a republic, a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes. I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies.

Don't count Jeb out. He was a great governor of Florida and a lot of us think highly of him.

I agree.  It's way too early to make any final judgements about candidates, and so best to keep an open mind, everybody promoting his or her favorite candidate rather than bashing the other candidates.

Me, I have no preference yet; as far as I'm concerned, all (R) candidates are eminently preferable to what the other side has to offer, and that includes even the outlier Donald Trump or the superliberal George Pataki.

Sorry, I live in the state of Florida and in my opinion he was a lousy governor. I didn't like being addressed in Spanish over the airwaves, nor did or do  I like his soft stance on illegal immigration. His push for "common core" does not sit well with most of the parents in my county nor does his land scandals.  This county is considered to be very strong Republican, but I refuse to vote RINO.  I hope that the GOP has learned from the past mistakes; RINO's don't win.

So far Jeb has sided with every major Democrat platform issue.  RINO.
I'm sitting this one out if it is Jeb.

As much as I do not like many of those running, any of them would be better than the Hildabeast. She would be much, much worse than Obama.

That thinking is what got us obozo.  I DESPISE Jeb but will hold my nose if he gets the nod.

But I am dedicated to not letting this damn RINO get the nod.

Remember: always vote for the most conservative candidate, even if that candidate is a RINO.

Or do you want to be responsible for *shudder* president hillary.

From the link:  "But he continues to display his ignorance (or vacillation or unpreparedness) pretty much everywhere he goes. And this Bush is supposed to be the smarter brother. Well, I guess the bar is pretty low in that family."

Whether the criticism is deserved or not, it's a liberal outlet doing some early Bush bashing.  No surprise here.  The liberal media appears threatened by Bush; you'd think they'd love a Bush-Clinton race part II.

libertybele:  "He's not sure if race is actually a factor in this horrific episode of domestic terrorism."  Yep, typical politician, check the polls first before you take a stand.

Lacarnut:  "As much as I do not like many of those running, any of them would be better than the Hildabeast."
freedumb2003b:  "I DESPISE Jeb but will hold my nose if he gets the nod."

Its probably a good thing that perhaps you're not as burned out with rinos as I am.  I just won't vote for them anymore.

My own list is getting shorter, with Rand Paul & Perry up on top.

You aren't picking up what I am putting down.  I am in the Walker/Cruz/Fiorina camps.  But after the music dies we need to close ranks.  A hissy fit just helps the left and we can NOT survive another 8 years of leftists at the helm.

Truer words were never spoken.

If a conservative candidate get the nomination, it does not assure a victory over your worst nightmare in the form of the Hildabeast. Florida is key. Lose FL and she wins the election. Piss her off and she is just liable to declare martial law and send the Feds in to take your guns. I would not put it past her cause she is bat shit crazy with power. So, pick your poison. I will vote for the Repub. nominee.

All I am saying is chances of a conservative winning over the Beast are a heck of a lot better than a RINO trying to beat her. IF we are unfortunate enough to have Jeb as our nominee I don't believe he can win the White House UNLESS he picks someone very conservative as his running mate; but Jeb is a diehard RINO and I just don't see that happening. RINO's have lost the past several elections and it appears that the GOPe hasn't learned from their mistakes.

Belle; I know that you have decided against Cruz for his vote for TPP, but Perry flip-flopped on TPP; first he was for it and then spoke out against it.  He stated "the TPP has now become “an animal” that “needs to go away” at this point and time.

At this point in time?  So I'm not so sure.  I think he has done a heck of a job in Texas but you also need to consider his position on the Trans Texas Corridor, SPP and NAFTA Superhighway.  People rejected the idea as well as some members of Congress (Ron Paul) and so far never came to be.

I am not saying these things to start a verbal battle with you in any way, but I'm merely pointing out that no candidate is going to be perfect.  I really like Perry except for what I mentioned and even with some things about him I don't like, I'd vote for him over any RINO or DEM.   I am hesitant with Paul because of his foreign policy and he has flip-flopped on issues as well; again better than RINO or DEM.  Cruz's vote for the TPP leaves me very cautious and I certainly will be watching him a lot closer and again I'd vote for him over any RINO or DEM.

I see all three as much better than any RINO or DEM out there.  However, in reality, we are more than a year a way.  Anything can happen.

freedumb2003b:  "A hissy fit just helps the left and we can NOT survive another 8 years of leftists at the helm."  Ya know, I agree with you.  Personally, when I re-read some of my posts, it does sound like I'm taking a hissy fit.  So I need to rethink this political quagmire.  & afterwards, perhaps I'll see the light of day.  & if I don't, it won't be because I'm emotionally compromised, oh, no, that was a line from Star Trek!

I'll just tell ya, after I voted for McCain, & then Romney, it didn't feel good at all.  There I go with feelings again.  But it felt GREAT when I didn't vote for Lindsey Graham.  I must be so far to the right, there's no place else to go.

Many of us have observed that rinos vote like leftists.  Rinos want big government, big spending, welfare programs (eg. TAA, expansion of Medicade thru Obamacare)  cheap labor, expansion of our debt, pork inserted into bills, disguised as riders, Common Core, Obamacare, ObamaTrade, control, spying, secrecy, meetings behind closed doors, no transparency, revenue & investments, a.k.a. taxes;  amnesty, open borders, openly criticizing conservatives, holding Congressional hearings that have zero results, pretending to be concerned about IRS targeting;  Benghazi, VA scandals, where did that go?

Libertybele:  yes, I knew Perry flipped on TPP, & may flip again.  Don't ya wish a conservative non-politician had a chance?

I think if a northeastern RINO gets the nomination, we lose again because many conservative voter will not vote. Repubs stand a good chance of beating the Hildabeast if someone from the South (TX or FL) is picked. Walker might be acceptable.

The common thread between RINOs and leftists is intertwined between power and money. In this manner, these politicians are all alike, adopt the same programs, talk and groom themselves the same way, and ultimately vote the same way.

The rest of those in the cesspool known as D.C. are on the outside looking in.

This is what the RINOs are celebrating -- outnumbering their political foes. And the "foes" aren't defined by which political party they belong to, they're defined by whether or not they're in the elite class.

RINOs have defined the word "elite". They're in the club, and conservatives are not.

Yeah, no.  If I'm going to have to eat a shit sandwich either way, I would at least like to have the satisfaction of knowing I didn't vote for the eating of shit sandwiches and lend the appearance of some kind of shit sandwich mandate to the whole disgusting spectacle.  I do not believe Pataki, Trump, or Christie are anything but Democrats who can't spell their own party's name correctly.  Jeb is the tiniest bit preferable to Hitlery, but voting for him after the way his father and brother kept continually getting suckered into being 'Statesmanlike' while the other side was playing uncompromising hardball for their own agenda gives me no reason to expect anything good from him.
