Has the price of eggs gone up where you live?
 
Due to the shortage and diseased chickens, the news keeps reporting a price increase in eggs. I just bought some at Costco and the price was the same.

Have you noticed a change?

I see those reports, too, and keep wondering if they will be raising the prices, but so far, no.

then the rooster haters got all upset about the noise. 

We don't use a lot of eggs but in the summer I want egg salad sandwiches. And deviled eggs.

we shall overcome.

there are so many other noises around here louder and more annoying that my boys. i think once it becomes more commonplace, it will melt into the background like the noise from the trains at the end of the block.

a lot of my neighbors love the sound. most of them come from mexico, so it really reminds them of home.

but you dont need roos for eggs. a lot of towns allow hens but no roos.

i keep them to keep the girls safe, tho. big upsurge in cooper's hawks around here. i blame the roo haters.

I remember going to Gramma's house and hearing the roosters in the morning! It was wonderful!

I can't see how it's any different than the hooting of the owls.

16. They've just about doubled in price since January.
 
6 eggs went from $.79 to $1.49. A dozen Large Grade A eggs went from $1.69 to $3.29.

The pheonix primitive is an idiot. you'd think these dummies know that you don't need roosters to get the hens to lay. You only need them if you need replacement chicks, and you're too lazy to go to the local farm & fleet store in late March. If they're selling the breeds that don't show combs on the males within a week of hatching, then they're out to screw ya.

And big Mo is an idiot also for not reminding the DUmmies that the crowing only indicates that there's gonna be fried chicken Sunday. When the crowing stops, it's back to the super market for some old layer that's been used up.

Glorious party members tell all comrades will not make eggs more expensive. Party leaders say eggs stay same price with more work by comrade farmers. Evil capitalist pigs say egg price go up. Last weekend, Xtra large were $4.79, while merely large were $2.59. 

It's wreaking havoc in the wholesale world, because pricing changes weekly, and the suppliers are rationing them out.  Screwing up contracts.  This too shall pass.
