I always thought of these secretive meetings as a cult of elites getting together for secret meetings & deciding what's best for us little people. There's no need for private security because the host country bends over backwards to ensure these elitists are safe & sound.

I bet we won't even know what their carbon footprint is.  Who cares, right?

A little more info.

But some irony.  The VIP list includes the CEO of JP Morgan Asset Management.  JP Morgan took TARP money.  Glad to know we're helping an elitist join this secretive meeting.  HSBC will be there; they reportedly profited from the $3.5B of AIG's bailout money.  Yep, Morgan Stanley will be there.  They took $10B in TARP, & turned around & gave $3.9B in staff bonuses.

Since we're so generous, all of us here should be invited.

" Bilderberg 2015 has an extremely high-powered participant list, featuring a large number of senior politicians and public figures. With participants this powerful, and an agenda containing this many hot topics, the Telfs policy conference is sure to be covered in depth by the world’s press. And by “sure to be”, I mean probably won’t be. For reasons that, as ever, escape me."

oops, not a good site to use?

It ranks up there with the National Enquirer, coasttocoastam.com, WND.

ETA: The National Enquirer has more credibility than Alex Jones.

Nah, that site is full of false accusations and unfounded conspiracies. It doesn't count as a legit news source.

That said, notice Obama was NOT in attendance.
If he was, we would all freak out, Alex Jones or not.

Gotcha.  I'll try to avoid.  Didn't also know WND was sensationalized as well.

I used to love WND! But solid sites are better.

Ya know this sounds like a good thread to start, where do you get your news from?
