Boston shooting: Suspect plotted to behead Pamela Geller, sources say

Usaamah Rahim, who was fatally shot after waving a military knife at law enforcement officers, was originally plotting to behead a prominent New York resident targeted in other terror plots, three law enforcement sources told CNN on Wednesday.

But Rahim, a 26-year-old security guard who officials believe was radicalized by ISIS and other extremists, decided instead to target the "boys in blue," a reference to police, according to court documents. "I can't wait that long," he said of the original beheading plan, according to an FBI affidavit filed in federal court in Boston on Wednesday.

7. Hold on now....I think trading hate for hate...gets us nowhere. Pam Geller may be an atagonist... but implying that it would be somehow ok if a radical islamic jihadist actually succeeded on thier intent to behead her or anyone.... is unconscionable.

The poster said nothing about Geller deserving to be murdered. The poster said nothing about cops at all. Absolutely nothing about anyone's murder being beneficial. If you think the joke was in poor taste you can say so without getting melodramatic & flat-out making things up.

Face it Buzzy...your fellow travellers over at the DUmp are a blood thirsty lot that will find any justification for someone's death as long as it furthers or protects the Progressive agenda.

It should have been EVERYONE in that thread condeming the justification for Ms. Geller being murdered.  You hold up two voices spitting into a hurricane as some kind of good thing and it's not.

So .... initially - or at least on one thread - DU-folk were holding forth about how police always lie and the guy was probably innocent and demanding independent confirmation of police "claims". Is this DU thread the response to the video being made public that shows that what the police reported - that Osama-Usaama-Obama (whatever the spelling!) was armed and moving toward the police officer and FBI agent - was in fact true?
