I can't wait to see a DUmp thread about how it's needed.  :-)

After two years of relatively stable premiums across the country, rates will jump in 2016 by double-digit percentages for individual policy purchasers on public exchanges under the Affordable Care Act in practically every state, according to the first glimpse of proposed costs for next year released by the Obama administration.

The rate increases aren’t a huge surprise as health insurers across the country in recent weeks have been disclosing price increases in drips and drabs as they submit them to state and federal regulators. Here’s a link to the rate increases insurers have requested in your state for just those plans asking for increases of 10 percent or more.

And the repercussions from the Grubering continue.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Most people I know have not had stable premiums. For 2015 my premiums jumped 80%, 2014 they jumped 112%. I still have not taken advantage of my free mammogram or birth control.

My premiums are going to go up about 3-5% this year, but the deductibles will be doubling.

I checked on what plans submitting increased for Nevada. My current plan is one of them. There are a couple plans asking for close to 30%, my carrier had submitted increase requests between 12 & 25 percent.

That sucks, big time. Just seven years ago I only had to pay $28 a month for a zero deductible HMO......those were the good old days! The family plan was $180 a month. Employee & spouse was only $70 a month.

Now I pay out the ass and every time my doctor orders something for my "pre existing" conditions the procedures are denied! That includes medication I have been taking for eight years, with no gap in coverage.
