What the Liberals don't realize is that it's their own draconian policies they've implemented in the name of "safety" "fairness" and "gender' that are causing especially younger people to grow up fat and lazy.

Try letting your kid go out this summer with a group of his friends to roam the neighborhood on their bikes the way we used to be able to.

Or play tag or king of the mountain at recess...if that school still has recess.

Kids can't be kids anymore and too many parents let the computer or the X Box be the babysitter.

Back in the 50's, 60's and 70's kids would also walk farther than the end of the driveway to get on the bus to go to school, walking to and from school was a five day a week thing for me regardless of weather.

I heartily agree.

You pay 1 of 2 prices in life, no exceptions.

You pay the price for failure.
Or you pay the price for success.

The good news is, you never have to stop at or accept failure.

The bolded is very true. The DUches should pay attention to this, they might actually learn something.
“Violence, naked force, has settled more issues in history than has any other factor, and the contrary opinion is wishful thinking at its worst. Breeds that forget this basic truth have always paid for it with their lives and their freedoms”

“The best things in life are beyond money; their price is agony and sweat and devotion ... and the price demanded for the most precious of all things in life is life itself - ultimate cost for perfect value.”

Very true.
A big part of the reason for the rise in kids and teens becoming overweight is a lack of physical activity/ exercise, and a good part of that is because liberals, especially in schools, have banned so much of the physical activity that used to be prevalent among kids just because they're afraid there's a slim chance kids might get hurt.

The other part to this and it is IMHO a product of the lack of recess in school...is how many kids in school these days are on ADD/ADHD meds.

Most of these kids that are on it...more than likely don't have it...but they've got all this energy pent up in them that you and I used to get rid of in a great game of dodge ball or tackle the man with the ball...and the teacher (yes the teacher) makes the diagnosis that the child is ADD/ADHD and needs meds...suddnly you've got a classroom full of zombies....when all you really needed to do was give them about 30 minutes on the playground.

That fear of kids getting hurt and not knowing how to handle it has led to the generation we have today that's seemingly incapable of handling even the slightest bit of hardship in their lives.
