Why no National Guard? Probably the Governor of AZ knew they were not necessary. If any Muslims were so inclined, the Governor knew they were unlikely to go 1 against God knows how many armed protesters. And the Governor knew the protesters were unlikely to do anything stupider than what they were already doing.
