This is a pretty boring nadin thread.
No personal insults, no condescension.
But it ends with a nice new nadinism.

California might be following Oregon in Motor Voter Act
that will expand registration though the DMV
The first is AB 1461. This bill, authored by Gonzalez and Secretary of State Alex Padilla, and modeled on Washington State Motor Voter Act, would opt in every legal voter in the State though the Department of Motor Vehicles. This bill would make it easier to get registered to vote.
If adopted by the Assembly and the State Senate and signed into law, this bill would potentially add millions of Californians to the voting rolls.
“The California New Motor Voter Act will modernize the state’s voter registration system and bring millions of eligible Californians into the electoral process,†Gonzalez said. “Including more eligible voters makes our elected officials more responsive to the needs of our community and our government more reflective of the people it serves.â€

The rest of the bills might matter to some. This one, there was some interest.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/10026742960This is a great idea!
Since half the cars in California are driven by illegal mexicans who can't speak English, how else are they going to get to vote?

2. I actually know why a lot of people don't vote
my ears are bent and when I give the reasons here, people ignore them. But the short of it, until this shit is relevant...
But this might get people registered who were convinced by prison officials that they will never, ever vote again, and they would like to. I have counseled a few folks about that, and to their shock they got the franchise back.
Anyone who needs to be counseled by nutcase nadin shouldn't be voting.

9. Well this will also open the franchise for people who are legally able to
but the Dept of Corrections told them they could not.
That is but one example.
I prefer a system where everybody gets a mail in ballot, and doe snot have to go to a precinct either.
Doe snot. That be retardant.
